Kakashi's Gaiden // Minato
Has anyone noticed at this episode, when Minato arrives to that battlefield where he'll kill those 50 shinobi, he forms a seal?
What do you think, could it be that he's going Sage-Mode at this stage? Because I think that's what he's doing, and he just joins his hands, doesn't form just one seal at most, usually the same while entering sage mode.
Also to people who think Minato couldn't use Sage-Mode, watch the 163rd episode I think, when Naruto fights Pain, Gamabunta says "Gramps, doesn't he remind you of those two?" at which Fukasaku replies with: "It seems like Naruto-chan has surpassed his predecessors", which are Jiraiya and Minato obviously.
So, opinions about the first part, I'm intrigued by this, noticed it some time ago, but didn't thought about making it a thread.

That point was just to prove that Minato could use Sage mode aswell, I didn't make this topic to comment about those lines really.

So Fukasaku means that Naruto surpassed Minato at that point?
You're not making any sense, it means that Naruto mastered Sage Mode, and surpassed his predecessors as a sage, not as a shinobi.

He didn't even need Sage-mode at all. He just used FTG and natural skills.
That seal probably was a pre-victory pose

He didn't have any info on those shinobi, and even if they were all chuunins, I don't think that he would've been that kind of a person who would underestimate his enemy.
In my opinion, he's the most intelligent shinobi from the entire series, who doesn't make any mistakes, and never did.

I didn't read the databook, but it's stated both in the manga and anime, so I think there's no need to browse the databook at all.

Minato fans would say minato > the world, if he had SM.lol
But it would be pretty cool..never know anything is possible with kishi..
