3/5 This chapter was pretty good, but I would have preferred to have seen more action in the fight between Itachi & Sasauke vs Kabuto before learning about Kabuto's past.

Think about it though. Just because it appeared as though Oro didn't appear until the river scene doesn't mean he wasn't his mother. It was clear he wanted Kabuto since way back when he was healing peoples wounds and said he should be a shinobi. He probably disguised himself as his mother and let himself get hit. I mean think about it... Although she was away form Roots for a while. She wouldn't die so easily being so highly regarded by Danzo. I think Oro did that so Kabuto would kill his feelings as his mother was asked to in order to be a completely loyal shinobi.

I personally found this chapter interesting because we learned a lot more information on Kabuto, Oro, and Danzo. I can't wait for next weeks chapter when we see Sasori and Oro in the Akatsuki. Maybe we'll even get some more info on Danzo too

Its just I dont give a **** about Kabuto and his back story. He should have died 200 chapters ago and no one would care on bit cause he has no relevance to the Manga's Story except for Edo Tensei. Might aswell just have kept Oro alive and let him Cast the EDO Tensei and Kabuto wouldnt even matter.

I would much rather have a Flashback about the ****ing little pig pet the 5th Hockage has then Kabuto.

i don't understand why everyone is so negative about how the manga is progressing!
There's a lot of interesting information in this one, aside from what we get to know about Kabuto.

Like, Orochimaru probably was active in Root too? And I think he has a lot to do with Danzo. I think he was the one who gave Danzo the ability to use all those Sharingan. I'm not sure if Danzo has Hashirama's DNA already here, but most likely he already has one maybe more Sharingan.

Why?

The bondages ofcourse... But not only that, it seems he already had Shisui's sharingan here. Ninou was so easily and abrupt convinced. It was almost like she was being controlled. Ofcourse she had her reasons, out of protecion, to agree with Danzo's demands. But she didn't really put up a fight, didn't try to work something out, although she was called one of the most intelligent Shinobi of her time.

If Orochimaru did give Danzo the sharingans, it makes Tobi being Kagami a little bit more true. I think Danzo and Kagami where friends, since they were in the same team with Tobirama at a certain moment in the war.
Orochimaru probably helped Tobi with gaining Hashirama's DNA. As he helped Danzo who once cooperated with Kagami. Something happened why they decided not to work with eachother anymore. They both lived in the shadows and I think they split up eventually because Danzo always had Konoha in his mind, and Kagami, after the slaughter of his clan, probably couldn't bare to be a Leaf-Ninja anymore.

But hey... I'm going way to deep again now :-P

Let's just face facts:The entire uchiha bros arc is lame. The only thing I have found interesting is Kabuto...I could give a crap about whatever plot no jutsu kishi's gonna employ so that the uchiha's win(lame). I'm just ready for it to be over and go back to the five kages...the rest of the rookies...hell even naruto at this point...The fanboys and "action" lovers got what they wanted: to see the uchiha bros and Kabuto "smackdown", now that some actual PLOT is being used, they're whining....baka baka baka

Good Chapter. Story progression is actually telling a story.

It's interesting to see how someone got to where they are before revealing their deaths. Had no story been told about any of the characters we wouldn't understand anything.

From what we have seen, Danzo has always worn bandages; kind of like how Kakashi has always worn a mask, or Tsunade always has that jutsu activated which changes her appearance to when she was a young adult.

Anyway, I assume chapter 584 will be a whole chapter of flashbacks, and the first few pages of 585 will be flashbacks too - hopefully getting back to the fight after that.
