Kabuto's back ground isn't that interesting. Everyone already knew he was a spy used by the hidden leaf, this chapter just showed us he killed his own adoptive mother and how he met Orochimaru. No need to waste a whole chapter on something that could have been explained in 4-6 pages.

That was quite a nice flashback, IMO. The timing of it is still.. um... off. But it's a good flashy nonetheless.

It makes Kabuto out to be more of a sympathetic character - at least until he joined Orochimaru, it seems. I never liked his character, but these last few chapters had me warm up to him a little. He's more interesting than I thought; I was thinking he'd just be another "oh I was wronged as a child, now I'm evil", but there's definitely more to it. And apparently "Mother" was a mole? Dun dun dunnn....

Seems like there's always been some pretty sick corruption going on in Konohagakure. ****ing Root, such arseholes.

Also, seriously Danzo? "You look worn out"? Look who's ****ing talking. Sheesh.

It's like the whole Izanami revelation has been discarded!

The Uchiha Bros. and Kabuto's fight, as well as the entire arc, has slowed down drastically. These fights are not as exciting as previous ones.

Didn't enjoy the chapter as much as I could have. Like it was said earlier, it could've been summed up. The timing of the chapter was essentially bad, I was just getting into the Uchiha Bros and Kabuto fight. However Kabuto's background is rather interesting, and I do wish to find out more.

Guys. For one, understand, with maturity, that flashbacks are essential for the plot to move. If we do not understand Kabuto, nothing would make much sense. It is important to know the background of characters, especially someone as prominent as Kabuto. Look at it this way:

We don't know Naruto's background. We don't know MInato's background. We don't know Kushina's background. We do not know Itachi and Sasuke's background.

Hmm. The story would be about some guy Naruto who mysteriously somehow HAD the nine-tails fox inside of him, and Minato and Kushina just somehow met, and somehow the nine-tails ended up inside their son. Itachi, how can Sasuke treat him as a good guy? He murdered his clan, what the? Sasuke, da faq, mental problem here

Yeah, this would be what we're thinking. THat is why, please, acknowledge the fact that this chapter's flashbacks were important. It was a good one. Only if you are mature would you understand, therefore, most of NB, ignorant fools, would not

1. Was Oro in root or just working with danzo?
2. Did danzo use KA on 'mother' do get her to accept his bargain? If so was that the reason he hasn't been able to use it up until the kage summit?

He is like a reverse naruto, he was acknowledged when he was younger than once he grew a bit everyone forgot about him.
