that was not the only smart thing he did, look how he is using shadow tech for frs to break pain's 5 second delay, he is really showing true skill,

confidence in his heritage and blood line are helping naruto focus, and he has learned much

He has always being smart in the battlefield and silly in his everyday life. Maybe he should be in constant sage mode to remain smart.
