So i think that, minato has sealed only half of kyubis chakra inside naruto.
If naruto gets cought (dont think so) and the kyubi (by a miracle) got sealed, they will only seal half of the kyubi's chakra, the ying or yang part and then the statue will crumble.

then maybe all the tailed beasts (an animal form of chakra) go away destroying everything. But this doesnt matter, what matters is that if naruto gets cought and sealed the Akatsuki's Seal Statue will crumble and all plans of Pein (and madara maybe) will be destroyed.

We were just talking about this. I completely agree.. without Kyuubi's yang chakra to seal into the statue, there is no gaurantee Akatsuki's plans would go smoothly. Now... with the Rinnegan, father of all techniques, Akatsuki may be able to summon the deathgod to steal the second half of Kyuubi's chakra.

EDIT: And also.. if Akatsuki does learn the whereabouts of Kyuubi's chakra, whether they capture Naruto or not, they still might attempt to extract it from the Shingami.

Nice job. Now, as Madara is so old and experienced, there's a chance he either knows where the rest of the chakra is, or that he knows how to summon it.

In any case, the balance may not be destroyed as they will only need the rest of the chakra. I say this because Akatsuki need to capture every bijuu in order, and as the kyubii is the last one remaining, it may not matter if he's only half as regards what happens to the statue.

And in case Madara does not know where the rest of the kyubii is, he will just wait until he finds it.

This theory isn't new, but it's good. It's just that people usually say the sealing might fail because of the chakra only begin half of the kyuubi's, but not going as far as saying the statue would crumble....It's kinda common sense hat it would have some sort of bad reaction anyway...

I've just had this small idea for a while which i wanted to share...
The statue which they seal the bijuu into. Looks like it's made of wood...So I thought that if it might have been used by the 1st hokage or something (where else could the connection between him being able to control bijuu and his wood style be)...
It could explain how akatsuki may have gotten it.
At elast it looks like wood to me in the manga with some eyeballs...I forgot what it looks like in the anime

Both Jiraya(indirectly) and Minato(directly) have stated that only half of Kyuubi's chakra has been sealed into Naruto. The other half is lying within the Shinigami summon's stomach.

Yeah.. I mean it's not like the Shodai could keep them pent up in his back yard. I wonder if this were true, what kind of reaction would a Jinchuuriki wearing the 1st's necklace would get while his Bijuu is being sealed.

Awesome Idea, i saw a thread where somebody said the fist hokage sealed the bijuus in the 7 swordsmen swords, it was a very good thread, maybe thats the connection, he used the statue toseal the bijuus in the swords.

Where did u find that Ying and yang? Was it stated in the manga somewhere? Ur confusing me so much... It is implied that Kyybi is sealed within Naruto as we could see the full creature ( NO THE HALF) locked inside him tummy.

The halves were not named ying and yang, their being ying and yang was just a theory that I think was firstly posted in other Naruto fansite.
