What anime is the most similar to Bleach?
As the title says. I mean there are superpowers and swords and characters can fly or something.

DBZ lol, but I think you've already seen that
Well there's Gurren Lagann a little bit old like 2007... it doesn't have that much swords, but it has Over Powered Mechas and I don't wanna spoil you, but they use galaxies as throw-able objects in the last fight lol -_-

Re: What anime is the most similar to Bleach?
i'm looking for one exact anime:P. I once saw some fight scene on youtube. There were some skinni guys, almost dressed as in Bleach, they had swords ( if i remember correctly, one was weird looking), and fought in the city sky.
but as much as i remember it, it wasn't bleach.

nah gintama is nowhere near like bleach, its just that the main character in gintama always want to become like ichigo from bleach LOL, that's all there is to it
bleach=full action with messed up story line
Gintama=comedy/parody with great action/fight scene and deep story line

Perhaps it was Rurouni Kenshin. There are a lot of animes which fit your description, if you can link the video you saw we can give you some more help.

Re: What anime is the most similar to Bleach?
Shakugan no Shana, perhaps, it has a sword user(possibly more, I just began watching it so I'm not sure) whom also has supernatural powers, or more like she is a supernatural being herself. Lots of flying things!

The only thing that Soul Eater has in common with Bleach is the whole thing about the Shinigami, and they don't even share the same perspective on that aspect.
OT: I would definitely suggest Dragonball Z if you haven't seen it already.
