It's definitely the end for kabuto, but damn! What a hell of a villain. Kabuto is the greatest villain, double crosser, shinobi in the entire series. Tobi and Madara and the akatsuki ain't got s*** on him. And personally he became one of my favorite characters because not only was he badass, bis life was also told full circle. No ambiguous back story here....awesome

Izanami FTW!!! What a way for a jutsu to activate - requiring both brothers to initiate it. Talk about teamwork. And, Kabuto is just as foolish and dysfunctional as ever. Spawning all of his past "comrades" from within himself...sick. Shows how desperate he is to win this thing - but we all know what is going to happen, don't we? :rotfl:

It's going to be interesting to see what will happen next chapter. What, is Sasuke going to return to Konoha as a hero, now?

No, he even said it himself, he's destroying Konoha on his own will and not only because of his brother. Itachi already tried to reason with him a little bit but it didn't work. I think his stubbornness is just so we can have the final fight between him and Naruto.

Well I think Itachi is one of the most -if not the most- genius people in all the Narutoverse.

About Izanami being activated or not.. I really think it has been actually activated, but I don't have any idea on what might be the destiny he wants to get.. maybe something related with changing Kabuto's ideas / past-future identity / etc...

The Tsukutomi thing.. I don't really know, but I wish it is some kind of advanced Tsukuyomi that needs a combination of 2 Mangekyou Sharingan to be activated - I don't think it is a mispelling or at least I don't want it to be a mispelling

About Itachi being cut in half.. well I think it just fits what he clearly said in front of Kabuto in the beginning of the fight that he will make Kabuto under genjutsu and know how to stop the Endo Tensei, and that Tsukutomi and being cut in half and the talisman with Kabuto are all part of the plan.

man i mean itachi used izanami ok ? but then he got split in two halfs .... and because he got split and hit he didnt have the time to stop the edo tensei he just use izanmi to decide kabutos fate

ok but i see your point but he can regenerate that part of his body like what happened when Orochimaru used Edo Tensei on the 3rd hokage. When the 3rd blew up parts of the 1st and 2nd Edos they regenerated soo... Itachi can still use his Izanami when he regenerates

Finally got to see some present day action but still below average. Something tells me sasuke is going to activate his rinnegan in this fight.
About kabuto he is a freaken genius but i wonder why he did not add hashirama DNA to his collection, he has been outstanding since this fight started, countered all uchiha jutsus and there are two of them top ninjas of their clans.

and what sasuke we do went he active rinnagan pi fire like ghost rider :P

All of you confuse Izanami to Izanagi. Kabuto clearly git Itachi and thus halved him. Many of you claim this was just Izanami which was prepared. But no, why should Kabutos hit be a part of Izanami? Unlike Izanagi, which change destiny, Izanami determines it. So in the case Itachi got hit by Kabutos attack, Izanagi would render that useless since it changes your destiny. But to what extent Kabutos successful hit is a part of Izanami, since Izanami determines your destiny?
