Because according to him his pawns are part of his powers that's why he wanted to capture Itachi to control him again. But knowing that Itachi planned to end the edo-tensei, he has no choice but to kill him. Thus, it somehow broke his heart.

Anyways, I'm wondering why Itachi have to deactivate the susanoo just to cast Izanami. That's too risky, & we've seen the consequence.

Good chapter although there wasn't much happening. In real time I'm guessing like 20 seconds just went by.

I think Izanami is like a jutsu that puts the users body at risk to cast an irreversible genjutsu on the victim almost like an opposite to Izanagi.

- Tayuya's awesomeness finally getting some recognition.
- Another combo by the brothers.
- Izanami finally seeming ready.
- Dat ending.

Disliked
- Izanami taking so long.
- Despite his clear ability to gain abilities as he wishes and obviously having the Dna of the two strongest Uchihas, Kabuto still going after Sasuke instead of just giving himself Itachi and Madara's powers.
- Sasuke for some reason not being able to cut through the webbing.
- Sasuke as a whole still not playing a major role here.

i was just thinking of it in terms of the final naruto v sauske fight. no doubt naruto is probaberly faster than kabuto unless kabutos speed matches minato if naruto is still slower than minato?

actually i figured it out cuz of the frame someone put up....he came through the snakes mouth that's why they didn't suspect the attack. Totally unsuspected spot. Look at it closely where the snake head/corpse is

Who da hell said Izanami is a genijutsu? It could just be sacrificing your eye, in order to make the target change their mind about something. Say, if you wanted a bad guy to be a good guy, then maybe Izanami forces them to pick to be a good guy.
