Yeah that was pretty badass and they nicely balanced the plot talking and advancing the fight. Seeing the sound-nin and oro was interesting, but I wanted to see more of izanami. I guess we are supposed to think he didn't get it off in time? Hah! Of course he did! The blinded eye is a giveaway! AWESOME! Sucks that all this is so dragged out, but this chapter sure was a good one.

I doubt we're going to see Izanami next chapter. I sure as hell hope we do, but I kind of get the feeling that it'll get prolonged just a little longer, what with Itachi getting split in two and all.

.....I didn't catch Itachi's eye blacked out at first, IMO Izanami is activated, just have to be patient now.

They disturbed each others chakra using genjutsu on each other so they could break out like a medical ninja getting a victim out of genjutsu

Overall I'm glad that 1) the flashbacks ended, 2) Sasuke seemed useful for once (didn't have to be saved over and over), and 3) Izanami was at least ATTEMPTED (if not having succeeded).

really great chapter, although i was expecting a longer one because of the fact we had to wait 2 weeks, but whatever atleast the flashback ended, really enjoyed this chapter! 4 stars

ooh the chapter was epic, glad it wasn't a flashback, the fight was epic, and the last page was epic!

I noticed that itachi's right eye is not visible, he might've activated izanami before he was cut in two, and he might not.. The next chapter will be a pretty epic chapter, hope so. :d

kabutos getting haxxed he chopped itachi in two :0 anyway i see kabuto dying soon that genjutsu on each other was cool also

itachi wasn't able to react either, and the attack was directed at him... it's been known since he fought lee that the sharingan's weakness is great speed. If your physical body can't react, the sharingan is less useful. plus sasuke was in susanoo

yeah it's going to be a strange fight if so. personally, I think that Naruto is going to get the kyuubi extracted and improve on his sage mode instead, that will balance things out. he will still have superior speed, power, strength and stamina to sasuke, but not as much

ppl have already said that a few chapters ago that izanami was alrdy activated(and it wasn't) due to his eye, its the same now as it was last time more than likely i think its because itachi edo died again thats all..just my opinion though.
