I think Itachi activated Izanami....He sacrificed one of his Sharingans by doing so. That's why one of his eyes is pitched black...Itachi maybe finished but he did what he was set off to do. Sorry little brother I lied about talking to you....logic!

theres a page three chapters ago when itachi got hit and one eye was pitch black as well? don't know maybe he activated it before the flashback.who knows?

Everything in bold crushes that statement. Sasuke doesn't have it. I think you just need to unlock both eye abilities whatever they are to use Susanoo. Which with sasuke would be Amaterasu and blaze release in the other

Um, no. You guys are taking what was depicted in the manga out of context. Sasuke simply decided not to use Tsukuyomi because it wasn't necessary. Instead, he used something a little less resource consuming (something that wouldn't require as much chakra and would inflict less fatigue).

What he used was a generic genjutsu to break the genjutsu Itachi was in, similar to the one shown here:



He's already displayed the ability to use Tsukuyomi here:



It was also stated in the manga that the requirement to use Susano'o is awakening both ocular techniques--Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.

So yeah, try gathering more concrete information from the manga before jumping to blatantly false and absurd conclusions.

VERY good chapter... Sasuke hasn't mastered Tsukiyomi, but he and Itachi are really making this an interesting fight. I just wish there was a little more taijutsu...

Itachi definitely activated Izanami since one of his eyes are missing in the last panel. Izanami might be Kabuto living out his life in an alternate reality without noticing while his body is unconscious in the "real" reality... or something like that. Leaving Itachi to just get the answers out of his real body with Tsukiyomi... like he said he would lol. This chapter was great!

What do you guys think about the whole part when they're all talking about the uchiha name? Itachi says Kabuto has no meaning in taking that name but auto says their IS a meaning with a mini flashback panel. Does Kabuto have some connection to the Uchiha clan or what?

Not true. In Naruto's battle against Pain, he could only use two Rasenshurikens before Sage Mode ran out.

Yes he has jugo's abilities. Kabuto is taking in natural chakra with jugo like Jiraiya with that two old froggies.

In other words, the Uchiha Clan is the source of their power and was prosperous before they came along. So no, he doesn't have any known connections to the Uchiha Clan based on what we've seen from the manga.

In other words, Kabuto is saying, "at least they are known and they know themselves because of their clan name". Unlike him.

Only one Tsukuyomi was cast which was Itachi's. But neither of the respective genjutsu of Sasuke and Itachi were designated toward Kabuto; they were used on each other in order to break the previous genjutsu they were in in order to in turn use Susano'o in order to counter the Orochimaru duplicate.

If you look closely at the picture of Itachi you can see his eye. It is just very faint. In 585 The eye is gone.

nice bro i was gonna check out the madara fight as well to see if that happen too, mm i personally think it hasn't been activated yet , that was just a cliff hanger to make ppl think he activated it. kishi is such a troll lmao
