Preform one handseal and create a thin layer of water on the field that can go up to mid-range. Remember to change the viscosity of the water more syrupy and manageable-like so that even disturbed by a earth technique it can still be one of the field.

Use this in the area around my clone.

The water will create flowers around my clone that will surround him and follow him wherever he goes on the layer of water so that the flowers are up his ass whenever and wherever. My clone will then preform some handseals but when he starts them the flowers launch slices of water at the hands to stop the movement. The reflection of the handseals on the water triggers this effect.

Psh, like I should try avoiding the truth.

I begin by sending chakra into the ground below me and moulding it into suiton natured chakra. I then push it up through the ground while materialising the chakra to become water. As I do so I change the properties of it so that it becomes a lot more sticky, coating the battle field in sticky water. From the water I use shape manipulation to create sharp, thin layers of water that look like flower petals. They follow your clone around wherever he goes. As it tries to perform handseals I directs the petals at him in order to stop the handseals and injure it.
