While Pain began his assault on Konoha, Yamato, along with Sai and Anko Mitarashi were sent on a mission to locate and capture Kabuto. Unfortunately, as they began to close in on him, Yamato detected that the seal he placed on Naruto was broken and he had transformed further than ever before; all the way to the Six-Tailed form. He quickly heads back to Konoha, knowing full well he is the only one with any chance of stopping and saving Naruto. Along the way, he finds to his horror that Naruto has already transformed to his Eight-Tailed stage, and consecutively to the Nine-Tailed stage and feared that he was too late.

so yamato could have & did not have too go which means it was like fate that happend unless it was somehow meant to save the team from kabuto
IN my opinion even though ankos knows ALL OF orochimarus forbiddens techniques excluding the ones he has used she will still get owned BY kabuto shoot all of them will

True . But I dont think it would be so easy to capture Kabuto . They must be crazy wanting to capture him , they should finish him off , I'm sure he will do bad things later .
Yamato ,Naruto , Anko , Sai , Hyuga would be much better team if they want to catch him .

Is there any way to prove anko is no match for kabuto? I don't think she'd go if she wasn't skilled enough.. But you're right that he's lucky yamato turned back

Don't forget Anko was trained by Orochimaru and she survived the curse mark so she has some skill.
Sai is a member of ANBU root and has been trained since he was very young by them.
Yamato can manipulate wood, do I need to say more...

Even with Yamato gone, I think they still got a stronge change of beating Kabuto, after all Kabuto has only Orochi's leftover powers and he has to control it, otherwise it would take him over.

I know all you guys are pro Kabuto (and he a good character),but he isn't on a Kage level, Orochimaru isn't on a Kage level (would of got owned if he didnt summon the 1st and 2nd when fighting the third).

But Kabuto would probably be more than a match for Anko ( judging by the fact that Orochimaru was the one who taught Anko whatever she knows ) and Sai ( atleast, as far as we know. )
Now, if Yamato was there, then it is very possible that Kabuto could be captured.

Don't forget we don't know Kabuto's condition. He may be still fighting with oro's chakra/genes, and trying to not let his body and mind be overtaken. So he'll be in difficult possitions trying to concentrate on both fights. Plus Yamato's wood, Anko's snakes and Sai's ink snakes are good abilities for capturing enemies.

dont understimate anko like that, he has some of oro's jutsus and we didnt see her in her ful potential, and he has a jutsu, i think its a forbiden one, if the user dies, opponent dies, and vice-versa, and she has snake summonig aswell

I hate Kabuto very much but I think his somewhat S rank ninja. Sure he cant be compared to Itachi or Pein ( no way lol) so Naruto/Kakashi/tsunade are the only ones capableof defeating him;/

If you remember right there was a filler about Anko when Naruto,Shino and ?? went to Oros island and then Anko fought with Oros doctor and she was defeated and naruto defeated him with Gama-boss and Anko is a jounin

I have to agree we just dont know enough about him to really say. I think sai is a pretty powerful shinobi and obviously pretty intellegent so its hard to believe he'd get own'd by Kabuto. I think it would have made for a great fight tho.

didn't Kabuto absorb Orochimaru's essence tho? if he did he'd probably be way more powerful than any of that team was capable of handling
