ok I gota question izanami was used to stop the use of izanagi rite, so were there uchias jus going around like "izanagi! izanagi! izanagi!" didnt they run out of eyes to use???? and wat kind of junk is dat like some people were like "ima use my izanami to stop your izanagi just to teach u a lesson. no its cool to lose my eye just to make u learn yo lesson"

I thought this was a decent chapter. I mean it's not great that there wasn't really any action and just an explanation of izanami and izanagi, but it's still good that they keep everyone updated on what these kinds of complex jutsus do and how they work. Thought it was kinda helpful.

Yeah they'd run out of eyes so unless you learned that you could use your brother's eyes you would use it only once. Otherwise you tell yourself that you'd make better use of a sharingan at this stage... One could get so arrogant as to try all sorts of cloning and kidnappings.

Kabuto possess Senju DNA because he did god knows what to Orochomaru.

Tobi only said you need the power of Senju and Uchiha, not to actually possess Senju or Uchiha DNA.

Extrapolating a bit, what if this means Itachi's jutsu only worked because he was an Uchiha and he used it on someone with Senju power?

Of course, it could just be Itachi somehow does possess Senju power -- and honestly would that surprise anyone? Itachi (along with Shikamaru) have unparalleled diagnostic/prognostic/planning skills.

Itachi lost his previous subtly here and almost directly told Kabuto how to get out of the jutsu.
Did Itachi revealed so much by mistake or on purpose?
Do you think Kabuto was paying attention to Itachi's statement?
Do you think Kabuto will realize that if he pretends to learn what Itachi wants him to learn he will escape?
Do Itachi or Sasuke have a plan b?

I think Kabuto will try to lie his way through and fail. He was definitely tipped off by Itachi but that seems on purpose. What patronage from Itachi! This izanami is all preachy and disjointed. I guess that's how one thinks when one becomes fixated on one idea in a larger argument.. They'll separate that kernal from the greater stalk of the whole word.

This chapter was ok.... I mean gives a vague explanation on how Izanami works, Kabuto crying about being perfect yet he keeps getting knocked down, Sasuke sitting around, and I did notice the head band on page 16 it being leaf and non ASF.
Next week's Chapter might be better but I have a feeling Kabuto ends up seeing his old orphan brother and realizes who he really is, ends Izanami, stops edo tensei.

What I wanted to comment on is about people saying Tobi said u have to have both senju and uchiha DNA to use izunagi (not arguing that fact) but correct me if I'm wrong but uchiha and senju r nothing but distant relatives. They came from the sons of the sage of the six paths. So they would have the DNA

wasted a an entire chapter explaining izanami... and then there guna waste the next chapter showing how hes guna stop the edo tensei. the hokages fighting Madara and Naruto fighting Tobi are way better matches than this one.. these chapters are just for the fan boys of sasuke.. -.-

I do not know why kishi contradicted himself, its talking about the uchiha as a clan could not fail, so maybe they had someone with both DNAs that wasnt lets say a "pure blood" uchiha. Maybe he will explain it later on...

chapter opens with all kages on the ground defeated, tsunade trying to stand up looking wounded and confused, we cant say if the madara bunshins are still around or not.

next painel, we see the full moon, and madara's silloutte, his hair moved by the wind, and his rinnegan gleaming in the dark

we cut back to itachi, sasuke and kabuto.

Itachi: ...i hope that its not too late...

Sasuke looks at the entrance of the cave: its pretty dark now...and i cant listen to thunder storm anymore...

Itachi: we took some time here, its night already...time to finish this.

We see kabuto running inside the izanami, he suddenly hears a voice:

"its past 9 already, you should -"

kabuto stops and looks back surprised, but he sees nothing. Itachi is not there anymore too.

"kabuto..."

we suddenly see mother, kabuto looks surprised. She walks to him and gets pretty close, and pats his head, in a similar gesture to what itachi did.

Kabuto just stares at her sad and crying.

"its past 9 already dear, you should..."

Kabuto: go to bed...?

Mother smiles.

"No dear....you should wake up."

Kabuto suddenly falls on the ground in the real world, surprised. Itachi and Sasuke look at him, Sasuke is surprised, Itachi smiling.

Kabuto: What was that...

Scene changes to tobi vs naruto and the others.

Tobi is standing looking down at everybody. Naruto is on the ground, looking livid. Kakashi and Gai are also defeated, and Bee is nowhere to be seen.

Zetsu appears close to Tobi: Madara! Madara has killed Kabuto! Itachi and Sasuke were about to finish edo tensei, and he showed up!

Tobi: !!! Sasuke is!?

Naruto: !!

Zetsu: Long story! I explain you later! First you must go there, right now Madara is alone with them, things can get ugly!

Tobi: I have done what i had to do here...

Everyone is silent.

Tobi advances to the ground, he unsummons the gedo mazou.

Naruto clenchs his teeth.

Tobi: All of you, be ready...this will be a long night! The time has finally come, for the eye of the moon plan!

Tobi turns, but before going, he side looks Naruto.

Maybe he was just apart of the Konoha Shinobi that protected the Konoha village rather than apart of the joint shinobi army?

If you watched the fillers, Konohamaru is apart of the shinobis that protected hidden leaf. Maybe they wear Konoha forehead protectors?

His eye lost it's light because he used it. And, no, it will not return. The reason he used it is because he KNOWS he's dead. It's safer for a dead man to use something up when he knows he won't be returning to the land of the living. In essence, Itachi knew that he, and his abilities, were dispensable. I also believe that Itachi is doing everything possible to make amends for his mistakes while alive - the biggest amends are to his brother for doubting him and for sheltering him/protecting him.

Much of the war activity that involves edo tensei will cease and Kabuto's contributions will end. That does not mean the war is over by any stretch. We do have Tobi to contend with.

Um...I believe they ARE talking. "That" talk or the info that Sasuke wants to know is being shared as they are "fighting" Kabuto. Itachi did his best to protect his brother to the means he understood best but found that he did it incorrectly and, in his mind, feels he is responsible for Sasuke becoming the person that he is.
