What made me most happy about the chapter? Itachi is finally starting to have that talk he promised with Sasuke. Too bad Kabuto interrupted him mid statement.

PREDICTIONS 588:

-Kabuto will break out of Izanami
-Edo Tensei will end. I don't believe Madara will disappear.
-Itachi will have his final words with Sasuke.
-As for Kabuto? I think he will return to the orphanage and become the new "mother" for the children.

pretty boring chapter and very boring talk no jutsu....

most people already knew/guessed how izanami works. So many pages with pictures just to explain izanami....

I just hope after the next chapter this boring encounter and fight is finally over so we can go back to Tobi vs naruto/bee/kakashi and guy fight. Would be nice to see more of the edo madara vs kages fight. But edo madara will most likely be gone after kabuto releases the edo tensei.

That was never specified on. Itachi said it wass created for that purpose. Itachi never said it was the only way it can be used.

Since a few of us have said this (bold), I thought I'd clarify that it seems like Itachi pulled a "Kakashi" and copied the move Kabuto was just about to use. (Although I guess who could have already known the move as well, but I think the way Kishi drew it as well as Kabuto's reaction point towards copying)

Yes he copied the same technique Kabuto was about to use and used it before him, if you watch closely here, Kabuto said: Suiton - Suiryuu... and in the same time Itachi said the full name of the technique and used it, he read his intentions with the Sharingan and copied the technique.

Not really, up to the point where he actually lost the light in his eye they were both fighting Kabuto. Itachi was merely waiting for an approiate moment to loop back on itself and appear as one continuous tape.

It was ok. From the spoilers I thought it was going to be a lot worse. Anyway, seriously no one has said (I think) Kabuto is merely saying this crap to get out of his bind, I think he will release edo but once he is free from the loop, he will fight again hopefully one on one against Sasuke because Itachi is just too much. This way we will see both of their true power (Kabuto and Sasuke).

If this really is it for Kabuto then I will be really disappointed, I never liked him but he was a descent villain and ending him here would seem like such a f*cking waste.

It's only weakness is that the opponet might get free, but, with the right usage, he will most likely become an ally by that time... Also, during the time the opponet is traped in the Izanami, he/she is completely vulterable, and can die anytime... Itachi is basically doing a favor to Kabuto, helping him remember his true self...

It was.. okay. Pretty cool, but not mind-blowing as the last ones.
In my oppinion Itachi cares a little bit too much about Kabuto, especially since he's going to die, anyway.

If I got that right, plenty of Uchiha were able to use Izanagi? Hard to imagine.

So, did Kabuto finally acknowledge himself in the end, or is Itachi just sick of waiting?

I kind of hope that Kabuto's era doesn't end within the next chapter, there's still Muu around, carrying the potential of saving Kabuto. Even if, I find it hard to imagine that Madara will just disappear.

in the first two pages instead of explaining things it just confused me....but in the end i understood it perfectly.....the izanami.....i would call it "a wake up call no jutsu"

i just grew to respect itachi even more.... sasuke's dark side is still on vacation as it seems (hope it doesn't come back, but unfortunately i think it will)

my prediction for the upcoming chapter is: we are gonna quickly see the madara- kage fight and it's ending by madara disappearing.......some kages will die (i think )
and we are finnaly gonna go back to our yellow haired miracle child and the arrival of the back up....:D

Processing how Izanami works was such a bore. I don't like Sasuke-Itachi-Kabuto parts, why can't we go back to the action already, the REAL action with the 5 kages and Naruto etc. Oh and this chapter left me hanging. Just like every other chapter every week but this one's special. I guess I just really want the Kabuto parts gone.
