I thought it was an alright chapter, am starting to get of all the talking but I guess it's necissary. Also since showing kabutos "brother", I now think Kabuto will eventually become good, which ito me is eh... If Kabuto turns good and releases edo tensei, then tobi is screwed, cause then it be all shinobi vs tobi. So I'm guessing they might go back and concentrate on the war a bit more before they show Kabuto releasing edo tensei

Right, here is how I understand it. (btw skip to bottom if wall of text seems to much)

Long Version, in detail for those who disagree or are interested

First Izanagi:

Uchiha could very easily have gotten Senju DNA, be it by forcefully breading to make hybrids, or by getting DNA during battle, Senju DNA would both extend the use of Izanagi and enable it's use.

As for the eyes, it would not be the first time we have heard of Uchiha stealing the eyes of their comrades for the preservation of their power, this may very well have been the main reason behind the development of Izanami to stop those who grew arrogant and prideful who resulted to pillaging their weaker clan mates and stealing their eyes.


Now the Edo Tensei and Izanagi: Not sure if Kabuto will end it but he probably will, Izanagi from how I'm seeing it is one of the most tactically useful kinjutsu and Genjutsu in the ninja world, it traps the enemy in an infinite loop as long as the enemy pursues his/her objective, it is a destiny deciding justu for this reason.

It can be used on sasuke until he no longer wishes to crush konoah or if itachi is a strong enough genjutsu user it could be used on madara and his objective to kill the five kages.

Could this skill be adapted so that the person is stuck in a loop as long as they pursue the victory of a battle, it is an auto-win jutsu, it keeps the user in an illusion until they give up an objective or at-least change the path, which is crucial if used correctly.

Will Madara live: Despite the fact that he did not deny the fact that he developed the rinnegan during his fight with the first, he was utterly batter during that fight, he had a massive blade through his back by the end of it, with agony on his face, it was over but if the end and been delayed 5 minutes he could have made use of his new powerful eyes and turned the fight over.

Madara has been restored now, and with his eyes, this is why he is better than he was at is prime, he can sustain himself without the Edo and even if he can't he will have a double immortality, from his eyes and from the Edo ending, because if the Edo ends from Kabuto, then Muu dies, putting Madara in a state of immortality, the only way is to seal him at that stage, or rip his soul out.

The only person capable of killing Madara is the only person capable of killing the first, the Third, ah but he is dead too, so I guess we will see.


Short version.

Izanagi can be obtained from Hybrids Uchiha-Senju or from the battle field. It could have even been given willingly during the alliance, eyes could have easily been stolen by powerful Uchiha, or given willingly by dying comrades.

Izanami can change the course of any battle by changing the objective of the opponent.

Madara will be Immortal if kabuto ends the Edo if the Edo ends from Kabuto, then Muu dies, putting Madara in a state of immortality.

Using both Izanagi and Izanami would but OP, even at madaras level.

Interesting chapter. A lot of information in this one. I really hope Kabuto isn't finished. We still have Madara and the 5 Kage's fight to see! And now, I really want Kabuto to meet his brother, the only person who appears to remember him all this time. And on page thirteen, 'I just wanted to be acknowledged'. That really reminded me of Naruto.. somehow I think Kabuto will turn good and choose the right path. Or he could kill himself from going insain in that loop... Poor Kabuto. I think Sasuke is coming back into the light. I hope he doesn't go into revenge mode now, it's nice to see him not want to cause a blood bath for once.

Actually i based my 'opinion' on the manga. Tbh i wouldnt even call it my opinion because the manga has made it very clear already that it didnt need senju dna, its you people didnt understand what tobi meant.

Kishi hasnt contracted himself at all because tobi said he boasted a complete izanagi unlike danzo. From what ive gathered, hashirama dna gives the sharingan abilities a boast. This is the reduction time for ka for example.

An uchiha can use the technique without senju dna, but theirs would be incomplete because they are just uchiha's.

When a non uchiha with the sharingan is to use the technique they would need to boost their energy and we danzo did this, but his was also incomplete because although he might have senju dna, he isnt an uchiha.

Tobi is the only person who boasts a complete izanagi and he said its the combination of both uchiha and senju that allows his to use the complete form. This is also why i believe tobi is an uchiha

So basically true uchiha's = incomplete
Non uchiha's with hashirama dna = incomplete
True uchiha + hashirama dna = complete

edo tensei will stop but madara will still live. he is gonna do a rinne tensei on himself and be alive. He is just having too much fun regenerating while fighting the kages. Once he revives himself, he will be killable.

Great chapter but the title was very subtle if you hadn't read the previous chapters (I think that's something called "plot"...). Understanding Kabuto is key to understanding how the jutsu works. Interestingly enough, Itachi has been speaking in a more upfront and understandable manner, which I think is very important.

Sasuke also is coming out of his "edo tensei," so to speak. As many younger siblings do, they idolize and worship their elder siblings and mistakenly think they are "perfection," when, in fact, they are human beings capable of failure. Itachi's acknowledgment of himself in the light of truth, I think, is what is going to bring Sasuke back to reality, if it hasn't already. Itachi has had a lot to say to Sasuke in merely demonstrating this jutsu and explaining the "hows and whys." He has been, very skillfully, been applying these concepts to himself and his life and showing Sasuke that there are other options; other choices to make. Itachi also explained some of his failures - including dismissing Sasuke as a mere younger brother who needed to be protected from harm/the shinobi "system." He also said something key: he didn't trust Sasuke's strength and abilities. Itachi may have loved Sasuke but to not trust the abilities of your younger sibling or someone close to you is, as was being pointed out in this chapter, arrogance. Perhaps Sasuke may think back to how HE had not acknowledged the abilities of others closest to him - ESPECIALLY Naruto.

Then there's Kabuto. His admission of wanting acknowledgment is repeating a theme that has been a hallmark to this manga. The innate desire of everyone to be acknowledged for something is now front and center yet again. But the ones who have openly expressed this desire...? Hmmm: Yondaime Hokage, his son (Naruto), Kabuto, Sasuke...the list goes on. However, it is how they chose to fight for that acknowledgment that makes things very intriguing. Kabuto and Sasuke were "lost" and had no clue as to who they truly were and saw themselves through the identities of others. Yondaime Hokage and his son, Naruto, had very clear understandings of themselves and their abilities - even if others doubted them. However, they did not rely on obtaining the identity of another to define who they were. They were "actions speak louder" types, which is the message that Kishi wants to send - through Itachi's words and his actions in his "undead" state. Unfortunately for all of us, that means Itachi's time in this manga is almost done as once he releases the edo tensei...yeah, better get your kleenex out.

I'm anxious to see what Sasuke does once the edo tensei is released...

It was to demonstrate the first thought that Kabuto had that was outside the "loop" that Izanami created. Once that happens, the jutsu can be released. He was someone's "brother" who others thought highly of in the orphanage due to his ninjutsu. It shows that he was, indeed, acknowledged by another in a healthier way.

pretty solid chapter. It explained Izanami well and at the end did Itachi say "I will stop the Edo Tensei" or did Kabuto? Because it looked like it was coming from Kabuto but Itachi's mouth was open.
