Anyways tell me all you know about the Wind release, mentioning all of it's weaknesses and strength towards other basic elemental ninjutsu.

Wind release (Fūton) is one of the five basic elemental nature transformation techniques. Being mainly used for offensive purposes, Wind release is performed by making the chakra as sharp and thin as possible and is used to deal cutting damage to the opponent. Wind is also used to enhance the cutting ability of blades and swords. It's also said that the use of Wind chakra increases the user's speed and reactions.

Some of the known Futon users are : Asuma Sarutobi, who infuses his Wind chakra into his special blades giving them more power as we witnessed that his blade passed through a tree and went straight crushing into a solid rock when he used it to demonstrate the use of Wind chakra to Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki, who uses his Rasenchuriken to deal great cutting damages through microscopic blades that injures the body in a cellular level. Temari, who uses her wind chakra to deliver direct brute wind blows dealing great cuts and damage to the body of the opponent.

Wind Release is weak against Fire because the flames are fulled by wind so using a wind based attack against a fire based attack will only make the flames stronger, but Wind and Fire used together make strong combined attacks.
Wind is strong against lightning because it's a natural electrical insulator.
