So I just downloads 3 apps on my brand new phone, but I'm scared to play them cause I don't know if when your playing an app, if it counts as internet connection and my parents will have to pay more So please tell me, if ur playing an app, does that mean u r using Internet connection???

Uhh if you have to connect online to play the game then yes.

That's not how internet bills work. You pay a monthly fee, the price doesn't increase as you use it. Basically you can play the app as long as you want without any consequences.

As long as their not online games and they dont sound like they are it shouldn't use data which is what will cost on the bill. But if your worried connect to wifi if you have it and it wont charge you anything ever with data.

You should be good. As for telling if it uses data I believe the samsung has a h+ and an up and down arrow that signifies data being used. If that is blinking or the arrows lighting up it means your using data. Also you can turn your data off in the setting and try playing the games to see if they work.

go to apps setting then customize the internet connections there...Some apps may connect to the internet without you knowing...and again some apps need internet connection to start so it all depend on the apps you downloaded......For mobile problems and solutions you can visit my blog....
