Ulquiorra himself said to Ichigo that there were still three Espada stronger than himself. If this isn't proof that he was 4th at best then I don't know what is.

I for one don't believe that Ichigo is that much weaker than the other captains and the fact that there was such a huge power gap between Ichigo and 2nd release Ulquiora leads me to believe that he would of given the 3 Espada above him a run for their money as well.

no just no ulquiora admitted he was 4th strongest and until something contests that he will remain that in my eyes, he only released his 2nd state because he had seen how persistent and hard to kill ichigo was as he had massive willpower and was constantly surronded by someone who could bring people back from the verge of death (orihime) so he wanted to make sure that not only would he kill ichigo but also crush his spirit should he survive. i also have a theory that ulquiora developed a hate or respect for ichigo and either wanted to make his last sight one of despair or to show how much stronger he was

Well that was before Kubo decided to magically make Yammy #0 so as far as we're concerned we shouldn't include Yammy in the three above him.

MAYBE is Ulquiorra wasn't so SELFISH then we would know
He should share his knowlegde with the rest of Hueco Mundo so Aizen knows and can make adjustments
