Appearance:
Jinin has a dark-colored beard and hair which he ties into a topknot. The remainder of his face appears to be rather angular and features a very protuberant nose. He wears a dark-colored poncho cloth over a standard Swordsman attire, consisting of a sleeveless dark shirt and matching pants along with a waist-guard, pin-striped arm and leg-warmers typical of his village and Kirigakure's forehead protector. He also has bandages around his neck like all the members of the previous generation of swordsmen.

Very little is known about Jinin's personality. However, it can be assumed that his personality would be much like the weapon he carries, harsh and unrelenting. His facial expressions are usually one dimensional, always with a serious expression set in stone. His eyes are set in a constant scowl, either showing his unhappiness with all events around him or his serious nature. Either way, Jinin can be described as an intense individual.

Background Information
History:
Almost no information is known about Jinin, due to his solitary and hardened lifestyle. All that is known about him is that he was part of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, and was the wielder of Kabutowari. Since then, Jinin has faded off the map, with no records to even prove his temporal existence.
Other
Wind Release:
Due to Jinin's rigorous lifetime training spent in Kirigakure, he is able to perform all wind related techniques with only a single hand seal.
Kabutowari:
The Kabutowari (兜割; Literally meaning "Helmet Splitter") is one of the swords of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, wielded by Jinin Akebino. The sword itself consists of a giant axe and hammer, linked end-to-end by a flat thin leather-like rope, which together are referred to as a "bluntsword" (鈍刀, dontō) that is said to be able to break through any defence. Although the length of cord means each weapon can be utilized individually, to cut and crush obstructions respectively, their true strength lies in their capability to be employed in conjunction with one another. When facing a particularly difficult or seemingly impenetrable defence; the wielder can first attack by striking with the axe, before slamming the hammer downwards onto its blunt backside, thus using the blade like a wedge to drive straight through the offending obstacle and into the desired target located behind.
Physical Prowess:
He was evidently very skilled at utilizing Kabutowari, a blunt sword that consists of a single sided axe and a hammer joined by a length of chain, which is said to be capable of breaking through any defense. This is achieved by first striking with the axe, before hammering it through the remainder of the obstruction with the hammer, resulting in the axe functioning much like a wedge. The 'swords' construction still allows the weapons to retain their individual capabilities and thanks to Jinin's expertise, both the axe and the hammer can be exploited to their fullest. Combined with Jinin's taijutsu capabilities, this made for a deadly and lethal combination, feared by all enemies he faced.
