It depends on the character, if the character is from Uchiha, then you write his clan 'uchiha' but if you were to make a custom character, you can decide on his clan and stuff. I'll give you an example :

NOTE : If you create a Sasuke bio, do not put him as a HYUUGA! Or create a neji and state his an uchiha...For cannon characters who do not have special skills are not allowed though...

Hm ok I didn't notice my 2nd question had been already answered in this thread just saw it awhile ago but thank you anyway. So I guess I just need to start posting some stuff to get started. Just one more question, When I get the 1500 posts do I need to make a new bio in order to be from the uchiha clan or can I just update my current bio?

to join uchihas, you must have 1500+ posts

you can create new one, BUT you CAN update current one and mention that you are from uchiha clan + you should edit history in this case

I know im still new and need more posts for fights and training,but im still a little confused
First, Can i write a bio even if im not training or fighting yet
Second, Can i make one up (e.g An Uzumaki but not Naruto or Nagato)
Third, If i dont get approved will i be told what will need to be changed in order to get approved
Fourth, Do i need to ask for permission? If so Who and Where?

Ive read through most of the material but its alot to take in
But i am so eager to play a part in NB world of ninja's
I want to get a head start so im ready when time comes!
