Chrome vs. Safari
I want NB's opinion on this. I have both, but I prefer Chrome due to it's accessibility and convenience.

It used to be a lot better with Firefox 3.... Then they copied Chrome. I modified it to be as similar as it used to be but everyone is copying chromes TERRIBLE setup.

I hate toolbars, so I use Chrome for most things.

- Tabs are in the worst place possible, the top, and it takes far too long to click on them.
- All menu items are shoved into a single button and terribly organized.
- It's customizable settings do almost nothing
- There is no search bar to the top right -_-;; How can I dictionary.com quickly without it
- Knowing google it records the sites you go to and sends them to google so you can get better customized ads
I used to hate the few addons that chrome had as well but firefox followed chromes model and now neither of them can do shit with addons because they release too many major updates -__-;;

Tabs are in the best possible place for chrome. Firefox's tabs are far less responsive. Firefox added that menu popup thing next to the tab, because it copied Opera, which in turn copied Chrome badly.
Chrome has plenty of addons/extensions and their compatibility is perfect, because it's Javascript... I've never once had to deal with backwards-compatibility.
Firefox is littered with popups. Whatever you do, there's a popup. Download finished: POPUP dragging itself along the screen. Update? -- popup. Firefox is so slow, it hangs almost constantly and it has a lot more bugs than Chrome.
The Chrome menu is all in one place and doesn't waste the entire title bar with things you never use. The things you use have keyboard shortcuts.
As for Google recording your searches, (assuming what you said is accurate) it is no problem for most people. Unless you let your brother use your account to get good p*rn suggestions.. that's all I can think of. I don't have ads, so I'm also not creeped out by it.

How do the tabs take too long to click? They're fine for me lol. And Chrome doesn't need a search bar in the top right, you can type anything into the main search bar and it'll give you results.

Re: Chrome vs. Safari
Chrome is faster, better, stronger.
Firefox was on my netbook extremely slow, Chrome even with like 20 taps open is still able to go quite fast. I love that Chrome can let me just start from where I left off, Firefox just annoys me. I love my themes on Chrome.
Safari is just so confusing to me.
Internet Explorer is okay at best, I mean not really much to say about it, quite basic and not very customisable.
Opera, I didn't want to touch it, I just hated it.
So I pretty much love Chrome and I'm proud to use it. (Yes because in my IT class it seems everyone uses Internet Explorer while I, the proud one use Chrome. Awesomeness!)

I'm not sure I understand... All of them except Opera work fine. It's mostly a battle of features and added security.
And patching security holes.
