1 year NarutoBase Forums!

I waited anxiously for the first new members to sign in last year, exacly 365 days ago, when I relaunced the forums to vBulletin. Before that, we had a very small forum which was build up for free. However it was far from fast, badly coded and got hacked twice. With the new forums, I was thinking, would new members join, would the forum be a success?

The NarutoBase Forums is special to me, we created a place where Naruto fans meet each other, chatting with each other, discussing about the latest Naruto manga chapter, watching the latest Naruto anime episode and the best thing, making new friends. Within one year, we reached 20,000 members, 1,000,000 posts and almost 19,000 threads.

Forums date back to the old dial up bulletin boards and news lists. They aren’t new, and they aren’t what everyone is tweeting and plurking about these days in social media, but that’s okay. I believe the value and persistence of relationships found in forums continues to be one of the highest value!

As a gift, I'll launch up some new mods this week. Starting by now we now have a Twitter module where you can show up your last tweets on your profile. (Go to your User CP -> Edit Details for more info). More addons will come this week ^^

So, I’ll wish us a happy first birthday, and commit myself to making year two a least twice as big…
