Kimimaro vs Itachi

Before you say Itachi, I have restrictions to put up. No MS, that means no Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi or Susano'o. Itachi only has three tomoe Sharingan.

Location is where Itachi and Kisame fought Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai and Gai.

Both are healthy, even if they're sick, it won't matter since they probably have the same sickness.

I personally think that Kimimaro would take this. Kimimaro scored a 5 for Taijutsu and Itachi only has a 4.5, Itachi's faster than Kimimaro but Kimimaro's still really fast. I know Itachi's Sharingan could help him read Kimimaro's movements but I still root for Kimimaro.

Eh I say Itachi even his 3tomoe genjustsu is great and Itachi in base form is honestly superior to anyonne in the younger age group in part 1 remember he has overwhelming katon i can see that as an issue for kimi too

Itachi wins, he still has genjutsu and has a 5 in speed, he will be able to keep up with Kimimaro and he's clearly an Akatsuki member for a reason, no MS included.

Itachi can use water and fire and the battle takes place near/on lake so even without genjutsu Itachi wins .

I go with Itachi since we have nothing that says he won't look at Itachi's Sharingan and get owned like the great 'Orochimaru-sama' by the same paralysis genjutsu. If he had that teeny weeny knowledge he could win.

Once and for all, according to the databook Magen: Kasegui no Jutsu requires no eye contact at all. Looking at the enemy is enough to activate the technique. No eye contact and no seals are required.

That being said, Itachi clearly takes this. Kimimaro is a splendid close range fighter, but just like the majority of characters he'd eventually fall prey to Itachi's Genjutsu.
