Wouldn't it be that naruto's past is worse going by the saying...'better to have loved and lost, than to have loved at all', something like that.At least they had a chance to feel that love, bedsides naruto never had any friends at all...

Oh, and kinda off topic but the shinobi nagato killed had the vests on, while jiraiya,oro and tsunade had the the other type. Any reason for that? like chunin and jounin rankings.

you're right...naruto's was much worse...not only that he was alone....he was always ignored by everyone...and after that...his best friend left....the girl he loved didn't loved him(altough he have someon much better -Hinata:D)... jiraiya died..now kakashi...

Me too, just because he lost his whole clan in the hands of a relative, there were no enemies as in a war. Plus he was always alone.

they didnt see him as a weapon or even a human being, they were refering to him as he was kyuubi, a monster. Nagato, who lost his parents in war, should know that such things happend in wars, but for example sasuke, who lost his whole clan in a single massacre, should have much worse pain than nagato.

Nagato's history aint that sad. Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara was much worser he had atleast friends somethign Naruto and gaara didn't have, so Nagato needs to come over with it and don't act like a big *****.

Sure, Sasuke lost his clan and family. But Negato lost that AND he had to deal with being an orphan, stealing to live, and with nobody to care for him, except Yahiko and Konan, one of whom later died.

Sasuke had tons of people who were fascinated with him, and he would never have to worry about going hungry, even if his parents were dead. Not to mention, the Uchiha brought this upon themselves, while Negato's parents died because of a war that didn't involve them.

Pain's past is more painful...Imho =P.

naruto had no one from the start and no one liked him and he was ignored for the first 12 years of his life untill he found friends and now everyone likes and respects naruto he found life again you could say

but Nagato is different

Nagaots past is more comparable to sasukes and still i feel that nagatos is worse.

Sasuke lost everyone in his family but after that what happend, He was still given a place to live he wasnt alone, people loved him he was just to big headed to like them back. He wanted revenge against his brother and that is what drove him.

Nagato you could say lost every member of his family also, he only had a mom and dad but it still is the same idea, but then after what happend, he didnt have a place to live he had to starve for days untill he found a dog which was his first companion and then konan and yahiko, than all of the sudden the dog is dead and we will see that yahikos death too later. nagato had to experiance the harsh pain twice(three is you count Tiny) He wants revenge to against the world but more specifically The leaf and that is his drive

I was speaking about the Elders and Danzou as regards Naruto, not about common people.

War is war. It causes loads of problems from a downhill economy, deaths, destryed homes and what not.

But, what Pain is doing is simple terrorism. Whatever the reason be, his reasoning is derailed and nothing special or unique in it. Konoha thought that it could settle for peace though war and so did Pain.

IN fact, Konoha seems to come out more humane. They were not killing civilians intentionally at least.

Pain needs to get over that loss. Seeing that Jiraiya took care of them soon after that fight with Hanzou, I don't think he was sufferring that long due to war either.

Either way this arc is getting on my nerves now. I don't want to see anymore of Pain. I had much more respect for Oro.

Nagato's past is more depressing then Naruto's. I don't remember Naruto starving anywhere or worried about living to see another day. It's worse then Sasuke's because at least Sasuke had a set target to focus his anger on his whole life...Nagato didn't. "I hate my brother" vs "I hate the world"......."I hate the world" wins.

And the stuff that he's doing....keep in mind, with most Jinchuriki......the villages didn't lift a finger to help them. So most of the time, Akatsuki probably only fought a small handfull of people besides the target. Naruto has just proven himself to the Konoha public and refused to hand him over peacefully. Secondly, for a jinchuriki to be made someone else died so the whole subject have death written all over it. Also they are breed to be weapons. Maybe not as strong as what Pain's trying to make, but weapons still....not people. Third...his line of thinking (if things worked out the way he wants) mirrors what happens today. Country's will be too afraid of the consequences to go to war. They'll complain and maybe say negatibe things...but there's no large scale war. Unfortunetely people with nothing to lose break EVERYTHING that keeps that balanced.
