for months if not years a lot of fans were looking forward to see what really happened in uchiha massacre. what happened in itachi's perspective. now that it's out you start complaining we all knew about these? if nothing else it's now clear that itachi was the on who killed his mother and father.

and this chapter put an end to "tobi is shisui, tobi is fugaku" theories.

itachi said I'll love you no matter what do you, but I think that doesn't mean even if you destroy leaf or the shinobi world I'll love you. itachi believes in naruto and he even made that clear to sasuke. in other words he meant that "even if you try to destroy leaf I'll still love you. (since naruto will be able to turn you back, I have no worries about the leaf)"

and I give this one a 5. for we finally got to see things in itachi's perspective

I really liked this chapter. It was a good conclusion to somewhat drawn out Itachi-Sasuke-Kabuto fight - granted we knew the majority of that info, it was still good to see it all consolidated and confirmed by Itachi himself. But it looks like we can now resume Naruto-Tobi fight. However, I still think Madara might take out Onoki before completely being released (someone important has got to die!).

Edit: And it was a very interesting twist there when Itachi suggested that Sasuke could have changed the Uchiha clan. I don't know 100% how this will (or even if it will) affect Sasuke, but I really can't see him NOT opposing Konoha and Naruto - he has been the rival protagonist for too long not to have this epic encounter at the end. We shall see.

I have to say this Itachi really as become my very favourite ninja.

It was such an amazing chapter, brilliant is an understatement. Itachi has gone through so much pain and I loved seeing what happened from Itachi's perspective.

I'm glad Madara is disappearing but a little bit disappointed that the kages were nothing compared to him.
Honestly this chapter got me a little bit choked up for the first time reading a chapter of Naruto, Itachi is truly too gentle and sacrificed his whole life and everything else to help towards keeping peace basically.

Going to miss Itachi very much now.

I suppose we finally got some confirmation regarding the Uchiha massacre; such a pity that it turned out the way it did. Maybe Sasuke, a child, could have changed the way things went.

A lot of people have been waiting to see it from Itachi's perspective, and it's nice that we finally got it... Personally I didn't really find it interesting - save for the part where his parents said they're still proud of him, even though he was about to kill them. That was awesome.

This is how it should be, though. No matter what stupid shit you do, your family will always love you. Good to see that Itachi keeps that love going - now let's hope Sasuke eventually does the same!

And Madara is definitely disappearing. So he whipped out a perfect jutsu and hardly got to show it off. And no kages died. Please kill one of them before disappearing. Someone pretty please die!

Also, STFU Mizukage! The kages seriously don't need that pessimistic shit! It's because her dress is ruined, isn't it? Diva!

Whew, this latest chapter revealed lots of answers.

1.) That shi shui's right eye was stole by Danzou.
2.) Konoha being "off limits" to akatsuki was really part of Tobi & Itachi's arrangements.
3.) Tobi is really an Uchiha (though his real identity or name is still unknown)
4.) The Uchiha Clan's Massacre was in facts' Danzou's ambition. Since Shi shui could have stopped it using his KA.
5.) Itachi really hesitated to kill his parents at the very last moment
6.) & last but not the least, Uchiha Madara's edo-version even though being stated as special, was stopped as well as the others.

Overall, this chapter is truly amazing. I even like Itachi more now as his true intentions & purposes as being shinobi was revealed. We also got a glimpse of Shi shui, Tobi & Naruto's battle, the 5 kages, etc.. The part which we saw Uchiha Madara's departure was kind of disappointing though so I guess I'm going to give it a 4/5 rating.
