still guys this chapter let us see everything from itachis point of view and i'm personally relieved that he cried when he killed his parents cuz if he didn't he would still look like a cold blooded fugitive in my eyes:P and about tobi i think he might be izuna cuz i cant figure out that someone else than madara and izuna having a grudge against the uchiha clan.

itachis a selfish evil prick. he completely forgot what his parents died for and what danzo believed in and threatened him with not touching sasuke or he will tell the other nations everything. when danzo was the one who promised he could save sasuke. he also had no role in the spying thing because the elders already knew what they needed to know, thanks to danzo and root. he butchered children and then went and still did the same thing while hiding in relaxation under pain's wing. meanwhile danzo was still doign everything he could to stop the evil pricks (sasuke and tobi) who itachi was like "sure let them go. nothing will happen" well it did. asshol. please die and never come back. you were the one who savagely and brutally mindraped and manipulated sasuke to madness. SOME LOVE YOUVE SHOWN HIM AND FUGAKU. you basically spat on their sacrifice by putting their son INTO A FUKIN COMA. FUK YOU.

Wow, that was an easy five to give. I've been saying for ages that Naruto wasn't as emotional as it used to be but that chapter bought Itachi's story to a whole new level. Really, really good work. Can't wait for next week.

Oh and good cliffhanger with Madara, we still don't know if he's going to disappear.

I was really touched with this chapter. I think I'm now turning into a Itachi fan. Hahaha. It was nice seeing the truth though. I wish I saw how Sasuke would have reacted. Huhuhu

This chapter just confirms that Mizukage has the least will among the Kages. I am also intrigued on the seal Tsunade made when the full Susano'o was about to attack. Hmm.

Nice to see a glimpse of Naruto vs. Tobi.

To be frank this chapter was a disappointment especially after two weeks. we saw a little bit of Naruto and it looks like Madara will be released, that was the highlight of the chapter for me.

We already know how the Uchiha massacre went down. It was exactly the same as what we know. There wasn't even new information just a little bit more detail.

those who gave the chapter 1 are stubborn idiots. sasuke wanted the truth, itachi showed it to him. in the end i thought they were gonna kiss, but thank god it didnt happen. i cried after reading it. dammit, why does my favorite character have to die?

All in all, a really great chapter.
At first I thought Shisui was Tobi without a mask when we saw him from behind due to his hair(style). It really got me thinking, have we seen his dead body? I mean, we have seen him pull out his last eye, but not him dying or dead?

Also, I'm starting to believe that Tobi with long hair is in fact Madara, so he lived up till the point of the massacre, but died sometime after it. I don't really understand why Tobi would have a grudge against the Uchiha, it makes more sense if it in fact was Madara at the time.

Oh, and I'm really curious on what thoughts will be running through Sasuke's mind at the moment. If Naruto manages to tell him that it was Tobi who released the fox, making the Uchiha end up with the blame and the thoughts of a coup d'ta, then Sasuke got to aim his revenge at him instead.

Tobi... Is he going to retreat or start using the rinnegan for real now?

Madara... Now that everyone thinks he's going to disappear, he's going to go like; "The Edos are wearing off, if I don't pull that jutsu now, my revival would have been for nothing" *Pulls insane medical jutsu and gets revived for real* (Not as strong though as he can't just go around getting killed off and revived because he will be alive again for real, making the fight fair and even).

This was another EPIC and AMAZING! chapter (as usual), definetly worth the wait....so thats what really happened with the Uchiha clan massacre, and what a way to go out itachi...like a BOSS! Quite emotional too....Seriously, rate this chapter 3* or less and you deserve a slap. This is naruto after all.

I just read 8 pages of praise for chapter 590 but no 591 predictions.....Sasuke finally knows the truth of the massacre. Does it change his mind? Does he understand that it had to be done or he too would have been destroyed? Does he understand that even in his parent's death, they were proud of Itachi for standing by his beliefs? I'm not saying Sasuke doesn't want revenge...(we know and understand that Itachi entrusted Naruto to change Sasuke), but does he now have a better understanding of WHY it had to happen.Did Danzo use KA on Itachi? We know he was in possession of Shishu eye...We know he kept it under his bandages.My final thought is "Why is Sasuke not going after Tobi over the Uchiha massacre after being told now by Tobi and Itachi that he helped destroy his Clan? Notice that edo Itachi calls the mask man "Tobi" where in the past he knew him as Madara. I don't think Itachi was aware that Madara had been summoned. Maybe the Edos can sense each other?!

Whew, this latest chapter revealed lots of answers.

1.) That shi shui's right eye was stole by Danzou.
2.) Konoha being "off limits" to akatsuki was really part of Tobi & Itachi's arrangements.
3.) Tobi is really an Uchiha (though his real identity or name is still unknown)
4.) The Uchiha Clan's Massacre was in facts' Danzou's ambition. Since Shi shui could have stopped it using his KA.
5.) Itachi really hesitated to kill his parents at the very last moment
6.) & last but not the least, Uchiha Madara's edo-version even though being stated as special, was stopped as well as the others.

Overall, this chapter is truly amazing. I even like Itachi more now as his true intentions & purposes as being shinobi was revealed. We also got a glimpse of Shi shui, Tobi & Naruto's battle, the 5 kages, etc.. The part which we saw Uchiha Madara's departure was kind of disappointing though so I guess I'm going to give it a 4/5 rating.

I thought we already knew that Danzo stole the eye and the massacre was his idea? Or were these just my assumptions that turned out to be correct? gave it a 4/5 too Itachi is a total bro even though I think he should have told Sasuke what was going on when he was a child he wouldn't cope with it well but he's smart if Itachi showed him love from the beginning (and maybe not used tsyukiyomi on him I mean come on man did you really have to do that?) Sasuke might not have so much hatred in his heart and therefore make more rational decisions. IMO Sasuke will prbs still attack the village/Naruto but really after seeing that it was the Uchiha's hunger for power that caused there demise and not Danzo doing it because he wanted sharingan he should reconsider.

My question is, why would Itachi get in touch with Tobi before the Uchiha massacre? Did Itachi singlehandedly executed all the members of his clan? Or was Tobi also on an Uchiha killing spree that night?

During their conversation, Itachi said that he will help Tobi get his revenge on the Uchiha. The only scene which showed him killing Uchihas was that of his parents.

I have a hunch that Tobi's hands were not without shed Uchiha blood that tragic evening.

I actually was an Itachi fan when he was first introduced, however after his truth was revealed I began to dislike him. It's obvious that he is a medium for Kishi's moral beliefs. It's sickining.
