Which starter Pokémon did you first pick?

I recently did some house cleaning for the first time in what seems like forever and found the Game Boy Color that consumed my childhood.

The game cartridge inside of it was none other than the reputable Pokémon Blue.

Thinking back to your first time playing Red or Blue (considering most everyone I know has played the first generation at some point) what was your first ever starter Pokémon?

It is somewhat interesting why someone chooses one over the other.
I remember that I picked Squirtle because everyone and their brother picked Charmander and Bulbasaur wasn't very interesting to me.

Bulbasaur is sucky one and i feel sorry for him, no one really likes him , well, i went with Squirtle as he was and still is my most favorite Pokemon

I picked charmander first... Ive gotten all three though, charizard is the best, venesaur is pretty good but blastoise just absolutely sucks >.< still squirtle is awesome.

I chose Bulbasaur. I liked the grass types. Razor leaf, vine whip, solar beam..... :shrug:

I play the game 3 times to get use of all 3 I go Fire, Water, Grass Bulbas awesome

I Normally always pick Water Types and teach them Ice Moves and earthquake to counter both of it's weaknesses

if i remember correctly, from first 4 gens, he is the only fast Grass type (starter Grass for sure)

They are all pretty weak I usually pic Charizard and then abandon him later for stronger Pokemon
