Yoshimitsu stands a height of 5'10'' and weighs approximately 140lbs. Little is known of Yoshimitsu's true appearance due to his being fully armored from head to toe. Yoshimitsu believes his identity need only to be recognized by himself. His masking himself and changing those masks represents his firm belief of this identity complex he maintains. As of currently, Yoshimitsu's current attire consists of dark maroon and purple armor. He wares a black spandex body suit underneath his armor, his torso guard is black with two maroon and gold plates on the pectoral areas of his body. His lower rib area has metal padding strapped down and his maroon center piece on his stomach bares the resemblance of a demon with golden teeth. His metal skirt is purple and is tied with sash around his waist which goes through the teeth of the demon symbol on his stomach. Maroon and gold shoulder guards which extend upward and curve with the bulge facing towards his head and neck. His metal under armor on his arms are purple and his forearm guards are purple and gold. The gold portion baring a spiral pattern. He also wears full metal shoes and his metal skirt is purple with a gold border. His mask is maroon with the resemblance of a demon with pointed ears and gold horns.
Yoshimitsu is a self proclaimed hypocrite and this trait of his is agreed upon by many who know him or know of him. However his personality is rather misunderstood and is more whimsical and unpredictable. What causes many to call Yoshimitsu a hypocrite are his many personality traits that contradict each other. Almost as if he had a split personality, baring both Yin and Yang to the extreme. Yoshimitsu values honor and respect for authority. He looks down on those who disrespect authority and disrespect in his book is as much as questioning the orders of a superior to subordinate in any way, shape or form. Yoshimitsu is loyal to those superior to him and is one to complete a mission all the way through no matter what it is if his seniors demand it of him. Yoshimitsu is a mercenary who has taken up highly controversial jobs and has completed them without hesitation and without fail. However Yoshimitsu has shown disrespect and inconsistencies in his follow of authority. With a strong moral complex he maintains as well, he's been known to incomplete certain missions purely based on his moral objections to the situation. Despite this moral complex Yoshimitsu doesn't maintain consistencies with that as well. He's dealt several individuals purposely bent on starting wars, provoking conflicts and death and he's Yoshimitsu has completed various tasks such as assassination on behalf of mafia-eque organizations and even gone as far to assassinate children or important peoples to start wars in other countries for money. Everything Yoshimitsu does is based on his whim at the time, place, and feeling.
“I've killed a family with 4 children, but I spared the last one because I didn't feel like it.”
“Something bothers me about starting a war in a country this beautiful...”
“It doesn't really matter, if I don't kill the Daimyou and cause the issue to escalate, my employers will hire another person to do it. Might as well do it now and get the money instead of somebody else.”
Though he has inconsistencies, Yoshimitsu has few consistent traits about himself. Still, they are very odd and socially awkward. Yoshimitsu is a very level headed individual. He keeps a calm and cool head during any situation he's faced with. However his main odd consistency is his lack of shame and regret. Yoshimitsu has no such shame or regret, stating openly his hypocrisy in aspects without feeling the preassure of society as a crutch to make him feel sorry or remorseful. Yoshimitsu has never apologized a day in his life for anything, he has also never looked back on something he's done and regretted it.
“Why look back and ponder on the past of events that cannot be changed? It will only serve to mentally ill myself.”
“What is regretting or feeling bad going to do about what's already been done?”
Yoshimitsu's personality may seem abrubt, heartless, at times but he's very well focused and wise for any standard. His wisdom, pertaining to his own philosophies are strong and set. However he's very mindeful of everything he does. Though he doesn't think of the past, Yoshimitsu thinks heavily on his actions in the present and what he poses to do in the future. Though whimsical at first glance and at times, pending his overall feelings at the time, Yoshimitsu thoroughly and thoughtfully thinks about every action he does and when decided upon he makes sure it's the decision he wants to brand on himself for the rest of his life.
“Have I no shame? None what so ever.”
“People should never act in a way that would require them to feel regret.”
“What causes regret is subjective, the feeling of regret itself is an objective constant. You don't know what will make you regret 100% of the time, but take the feeling itself out of the equation and whatever causes the feeling becomes a moot point.”
Yoshimitsu's balance comes from his study and mastery of genjutsu, something he prides himself on. Yoshimitsu's lacking of shame and regret causes him to have no care or feelings of what people say or think of him. His concealing of himself in armor and a masks is meant to represent his lack of care for what people see him as. He knows who he is, and feels no need for anybody else to need to understand him, thus he never maintains one appearance to have people associate him with.
Village of Birth: Land of Iron
Village of Alliance: Kirigakure
Specialty: Genjutsu | Fire (Affinity) | Lightning
(This is not like the Hyuuga Bloodline >_> Hyuuga Bloodline deals with striking chakra points. Kiyoshi ability deals with powerful strikes and giving attacks a more explosive and pulsive effect as well as using energy) The secret to the Kiyoshi Clan’s abilities lies in utilizing chakra at its purest and most natural (and semi-tangible) form. This ranges from shooting pulses of energy to using chakra to expand the range of weapons to surging one’s chakra into another’s body through contact. Members of the Kiyoshi Clan focus much of their effort in acquiring the ability to focus in on and sense Energy so that they can gather the Energy from the environment and utilize it. As such, the members that are more adept at feeling Energy can locate the specific Energy sources of living entities (trees, animals, and most human beings) and non-living objects alike since all things of the world, in Kiyoshi Philosophy, give off some sort of energy of their own, be it spiritual, physical, or natural (physical energy is extremely difficult to sense because of its lack of metaphysical properties). The Kiyoshi Clan’s fighting style is a mix of Tai Chi (to control calm movement of energy, best utilized by Kiyoshi Masters), Hung Ga (to control stable and powerful movement of energy), and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu (for close combat). The Kiyoshi Clan’s energy is based to be sent out in pulses. When in combat, they can utilize the energy, which causes their hands and/or feet to glow whatever color coincides with their personality and ability [green, blue, red, white, ect. (Distinct colors only occur in Kiyoshi Generals and higher)] and when they direct an attack, right before contact an invisible/visible “pulse” of chakra is sent out of their fists/feet to make an explosive effect when a clan member delivers a punch or kick that can send the opponent back many feet. Movement also plays a big role in the use of pure chakra/energy. The larger/bigger the motion during movement made to utilize energy, the more energy will be produced. Masters of the Kiyoshi art are signified by a significant glow in their eyes when utilizing the energy, and they can use it much more effectively than normal members. The ability is called Konki Myaku (Energy Pulse). (The reason why those with Kekei Genkai cannot utilize the ability is because their chakra is different from regular chakra and their bloodline effects their chakra in a way that it is configured to work a certain way, thus their chakra can never be “pure”. People with Tailed Beasts can learn to purify their chakra, but it would be nearly impossible due to their bijuu’s influence on their chakra.)
To Be Trained
Yoshimitsu is a mysterious shinobi, baring origins in the Land of Iron. Testimony from the very few who know of or who've known him have said he grew up in the house of a wealthy samurai family, living as the only son of the Land of Iron's head samurai family servering directly under a Daimyou. Yoshimitsu has confirmed his previous identity as the son of a samurai family however never anything else pertaining to his born identity. Yoshimitsu lives proudly as the shinobi he is now. His age, true name, everything remains a mystery to the outside world. Everything before the shinobi known as Yoshimitsu is non-existent and untraceable.
Yoshimitsu was once the leader of the Manji Clan, a clan of bandit shinobi known for their theft and redistribution of their wealth to those less fortunate. Before Yoshimitsu the Manji clan stuck solely into robbing from wealthy families and giving back to the poorer of the country or specific families. Yoshimitsu's arrival into the clan was unknown but when he came, he quickly took charge, killing the previous leader and taking the sword, Yoshimitsu for himself. He doned the name Yoshimitsu after the sword he won as a prize for defeating the previous leader. He claims his birth as Yoshimitsu upon becoming the leader of the clan. Once he became the leader, Yoshimitsu began taking the clan on expiditions such as missions from wealthy patrons and gaining money in that way instead of sealing from others, seeing it as “wrong.” This new change for the Manji clan was welcomed with reluctance but forced into being accepted by Yoshimitsu. Slowly but surely the Manji clan began to steer away from their robin hood like behavior as their time progressed under Yoshimitsu's rule and more into that of a normal clan. They took on missions for the sake of the clan's name, and increasing their own prosperity. Eventually, Yoshimitsu was approached by Kirigakure's Mizukage and they were requested to join the village, which Yoshimitsu accepted.
Leaving of Manji, Journey to Kiyoshi
Many years after making the Manji clan a part of Kirigakure, Yoshimitsu had proven himself to be a more than capable shinobi out in the field. He acted as the face of his clan, towering over all of his subordinates in power. Yoshimitsu began to go under the orders to partake in solo missions. He took on several missions; assassinations, espionage, sabotage the works. It had gotten to the point where Yoshimitsu was rarely within the confines of his clan. After one mission he found out that two of his most personal guards had betrayed the clan and village by leaking information to another shinobi village. The defection of his guards angered and discouraged Yoshimitsu to the point where he implimented stricter laws on his clan and personally sought to the extermination of the two defects in a most brutal fashion. When Yoshimitsu had returned from seeking out the two traitors, he returned after the village was attacked by the Akatsuki and several of his men were killed and even more wounded. The Manji clan had lost nearly half it's population in the attack. Yoshimitsu had take a leave from Kirigakure to assess the damage done to his clan. He confined himself to his clan and eventually confined himself into a solitary state within his own room, where he remained for several weeks with no sort of contact with anybody. He emerged from his home within the clan after his hiatus. Many were upset with Yoshimitsu because of his absence form the clan and they blamed him for the loss of so many of their members. Despite this, Yoshimitsu remained true to his personality.
“Everything I've done has been for the clan, I regret none of my decisions thus far, however I admit, I've failed to oversee the protection and prosperity of my people. However I will not apologize for failure.”
“As shinobi though I am your leader, you play that too much of an excuse for your own weakness and failure. Those who died were not strong enough to defend themselves. Their deaths were their own fault. A clan of shinobi shouldn't need to depend on their leader like a helpless child otherwise they'll never grow.”
Yoshimitsu did understand that his clan were severely outmatched by the likes of the Akatsuki and also understood that his current numbers were inferior and lacking. Yoshimitsu decided to take a leave from Kiri and the Manji clan in the search for greater power. His power he's vowed to return with and share with his clan and remake the Manji clan stronger than it's ever been. He placed his most trusted subordinate as the temporary leader of the clan in his absence and he left the village shortly after. Yoshimitsu began his journey heading towards the Land of Lightning and Kumogakure. Upon entering the confines of Kumogakure, Yoshimitsu was met by several shinobi, of which he found himself drastically outnumbered. He found a way out alive but only barely. It was after his escape that he met with a shinobi with a powerful aura. The shinobi's presence was fantastic in a sense and left Yoshimitsu aw stricken with his power. The shinobi brought a weakened Yoshimitsu to an unknown location and tended to his wounds. The shinobi identified himself as Roku Kiyoshi. Roku had watched Yoshimitsu's battle with the Kumo shinobi and was impressed by his skills. Yoshimitsu talked of his quest for greater power for his clan and asked to be apprenticed by the shinobi and vowed his life to the shinobi in exhange for doing so and as payment for his saving of his life. Roku then told Yoshimitsu about the Kiyoshi clan from which he hails and leads. Accepted by Roku, Yoshimitsu began his identity as a member of the Kiyoshi clan vowing to serve Roku and his wishes in exchange for the gaining of knowledge and returning to his people as promised.
Yoshimitsu weilds two katana blades; The blade Yoshimitsu by which he took his name from and the blade of a warrior he killed in combat that proved a strong amount of valor towards him in battle. Yoshimitsu took the blade as a sign of respect.
