[Discussion] Will Anko take her revenge on a nerfed Kabuto?

I know, noone cares about Anko, and Kabuto's brief time in the spotlight has come to a close, but I'd like to see this fight for fun.

Anko thankfully survived her latest predicament, being a bound captive of a deranged psycho killer, in large part due to the fact that Kabuto's attention was distracted by Itachi.

Kabuto has seemingly been nerfed by Orochimaru upon Oro's return, as Oro drew out his cells from Kabuto (saving Kabuto from being slowly consumed). This undoubtedly means that Kabuto has lost his Orochimaru-like powers, as well as possibly losing the powers he attained from other sound shinobi.

At the time that he captured her, Kabuto was much stronger than Anko. Now that Kabuto has lost Orochmaru's chakra though, he doesn't seem like his advantage is so great. Presently, Kabuto is still in a genjutsu and Anko is still unconscious, but sooner or later they will both come to their senses.

Will Anko take the oppurtunity to pit her curse mark and striking shadow snake jutsu against Kabuto's medical taijutsu? Maybe Kabuto will end up in the cell adjacent to Karin's back in the hidden leaf village after Anko beats him down. Or maybe Kabuto will somehow steal her curse mark? -.- Or body transfer to Anko.. kinda creepy but it could make Kabuto a top shinobi again despite Orochimaru's return...:shrug:

Before the end of the series Anko will probably use her suicide jutsu... or else why does it exist?:shrug: Also, this solves the problem of what to do with Anko and Kabuto now that they're just leftovers to Orochimaru's comeback.

Lul, Jugo already started ripping pieces out of Kabuto's body while he's still in genjutsu (or maybe it wasn't quite that barbaric).

It seems more than just possible that Anko will save Kabuto. Yamato being captured and just abandoned for dead always seemed too harsh, and Yamato was never shown to be dead. It would make the most sense for him to be alright somehow.

Does anyone know if Anko's curse mark is gone now? That would be a big power-down for her. Contrarily, maybe it would be a power-up since she couldn't fight the curse mark so she had to avoid it ever taking over.

I can clearly see Kabuto managing to make a last stand and the one stopping him will be Anko per Twin Snakes Mutual Death and will be praised by the Ninja World as the one who stopped Kabuto thus Edo Tensei.

Though personally I'd love for her to enter her Cursed Seal Mode before her possible death.

There's pretty much no other option. Madara, Tobi, Orochimaru.. these sub-threats are all blundering around in the wake of the true threat looming over them all- Kabuto. Only Anko's jutsu will be able to stop him, because he can turn into water to evade any techniques, and heal any wounds with Karin's Uzuamaki chakra.

Or maybe Kabuto vs. Anko wouldn't be significant to the overall plot but it could bring an end to Kabuto's and Anko's respective character arcs. Or it could not happen at all. You don't need to tease or mock me for making this thread.

I think she will try to arrest Kabuto if she even cares for the moment. I doubt she will wake up any time soon. I wonder if her curse mark is fully gone now? would be nice for her. I also don`t know if Kabuto woke up yet but he will be surpsied how he lost Orochimaru`s chakra and will probably try to follow his former master to see him again.

I know he's not gone yet, that's why I'm interested to see what will happen with him next. I doubt he's just gonna walk away from Anko without a word after he's held her prisoner for so many chapters. Even if he no longer requires her for her curse mark, he isn't likely to just walk away from the situation. Plus Anko is gonna be so0 mad when she wakes up, having been used as a conduit for Oro's return, and from being Kabuto's prisoner...

From what we know, Tobi isn't too happy with Kabuto, and he already didn't trust him. Assuming Tobi gets through his fight with Naruto, it's possible he'll want to hunt down Kabuto and Anko to keep certain information confidential- such as where his base is, the location of the gedo mazo, the 1st hokage replica... Kabuto and Anko might be forced to team up for any hope of survival.

Maybe Anko will kill Tobi using her forbidden jutsu.

Hmm, what do you mean? I get the feeling that Orochimaru's cells/chakra are no longer augmenting Kabuto's strength. He's probably been weakened significantly by Orochimaru's return.

Pretty sure with the flashback of Kabuto's lifestory and the foreshadowing given with his orphanage friend growing up and still thinking of him is a sign he still has a chance for redemption to live a normal life once he accepts himself. Probably the very reason he was defeated by that type of genjutsu too and not just any other means. Anko's curse mark is more than likely gone like Sasuke's once Oro came out of him.

About her having a suicide technique doesn't necesarily mean she's going to use it just because its the story. Kakashi could have done the same thing with Oro doesn't mean he going to do it, he can die from over using sharigan but isn't going to spam it until he does....(oh wait) Well.....Gai can open 8 gates to lead to his death but he might not either. Besides, I very much doubt her blowing herself up would be more successful than Konan's ten minute explosions.
