why?

the thread i have posted has almost 122 reply but it is not in the hotest thread, is there any other reson to donseder a thread as a hot thread other than number of replys?(it is not closed yet)

and also if the replies have come over a few days it is not considered hot , I think if the thread gets a certain number of replies in quick succession is when the thread becomes hot

Its all about the number of replies in 1 day if its one of the 5 highest of that day it moves to the hottest thread area.

Ratings. Members can Rate your Thread, but most times its a Flame or Troll Thread so it would be pointless either-way. Most Threads with Debates, Knowledge, or some form of logic or News, or etc. almost never makes "Hottest Thread."
