2. We saw what the tobis fan can do

Nothing more was revealed new in this chapter. The identity of tobi is still in darkness there is no new info about it. He can be anybody. I still think there is possibility that tobi can even be danzo.

I know people will say he is dead in that fight however, you never know. he can fake his death and the tobi watching from distance might just be some kind of advanced clone jutsu. We have seen naruto fake the white dog in part 1. And in the entire danzo fight, all that he used was izanagi and no other extraordinary cap jutsu... why? and then tobi takes danzos body comfortably with his space-time.

Oro in the last episode says I and tobi used sasuke....!
Where did this happen?
I point to talk between itachi and danzo; why is danzo so concerned about saving sasukes life. thats so unlike danzo. This is where the manipulation of sasuke starts in the true sense and then oro taking advantage of that hatred. Plus, when nagato happened to summon gedo the first time; danzo happens to be right there with hanzo and escapes unscathed(as a proposer of this theory i will say space-time jutsu or pre-knowledge of things).

Now look at danzo's objective at kage summit. He supposedly is using shishui's eyes to save the ninja world from chaos. we go back and look at danzos motives at nagato's episode. He is there to sabotage a force of then akatsuki( yahiko) that is trying to bring peace among nations. Either this is some flawed plot or small picture of larger scheme.

Bringing kagami uchiha or unknown somebody as tobi will be convenient for kishi becoz we hardly know abt these characters and their abilities. I think it is simply too late to bring some character that we haven't seen even 2-3 pages of manga come and become the most wanted of naruto verse(that will be story killer to me). The only reason i read this manga is to know who tobi is and how well can kishi connect the dots..

As far as speculation goes, what you say is possible but highly unlikely.

It would be hard to explain how a low level ninja like Obito, who barely even managed to unlock one tomoe before his supposed death, is able to have enough visual prowess to control the Kyuubi, bypass Konoha's barrier undetected, have powerful teleporting abilities, and fight on par with Minato all after three years. We have yet to see any ninja achieve such a high level of power and skill in that amount of time.

Also, we know Tobi has wrinkles on his face, implying that he is a older aged man. If he is indeed Obito then he would still look young, seeing as his age is close to Kakashi's.

understadable but at the bolded part...i was thinking that it could be a misguiding hint to lead us astray from guessing the right identity...just cuz we saw some part of his face ...it could be due to surgery or anything ,not likely because he's old....thats just what i think :shrug:

Loved this Chapter!! Finally got to see more Naruto again;D Hopefully next week more fighting between Naruto and Tobi(: And some more hints about who the f*** is Tobi!

Tobi is obito...Reason one, the obvious name similarity, same eye obito gave to kakashi tobi Is missing, kakashi got mangekyo sharingan because his eye is still linked to tobi..same reason why he was able to WARP pains rocket just like how tobi eye specializes in time and space. So even though kakashi has his eye it still kept its original traits. Also now we see in the most recent chapter tobi makes a comment about kakashi living his life full of regret, a remark that would insist that tobi and kakashi once knew each other VERY WELL. The proof is in the pudding minimotto purposely put guy and kakashi there with naruto to fight obito because they're the two that have history with him.....OBITO- TOBI.....they've been leaving signs for forever!

Ps Orichimaru ties sone way into the grand scheme....they never elaborated on his time with the akatsuki and exactly how he "betrayed" them. But think about it tobi always says he is incomplete and we see when he fights konen and he is injured how his body looks like clay...and now all of a sudden Orichimaru is revived and back into the scheme

makes sense except for two points

just because minato thought he was fighting madara doesnt meant that tobi is older, theres still a possiblity that it could b izuna whc=ich would make sense because izuna would have to b pretty old if he were still alive.

if the rinnegan is his power why couldnt he gain it through training like madara, y did he have to steal it, plus if it is the older son of rikudou then y isnt his sharingan a EMS, why do we see it as a normal sharingan.

just a side note, if the rinnegan belongs to the older brother why would he give it to nagato, a decendant of the uzumaki clan who are decendants for the younger brother. so wouldnt it make more sense to give "his" eyes to one of his decendants, not his enemies

Do you remember the fan like thing behind madara's back when he was fighting versus the first hokage? I believe its that thing. Also, my guess is, that fan thing deflects all jutsu's, but thats just my opinion.
Edit : My bad, totally confused the hands you were talking about, but i still dont think its the rod thing to control things by chakra.

The fan is the 5th weapon of Rikuodo Sennin. Only 4 was being used by Kinkaku and Ginkaku. I guess this makes sense right.

So I was looking back becuase of all the Obito fans out there......and one thing kinda caught my attention!
When obito "died" Kakashi and he were around lets say 16-17 yrs, when "Tobi" fights minato they show a panel of Kakashi and guy walking together and they seem a bit older!

Now if ppl are saying that he is in fact Tobi=Obito than he would be around the right height considering Kakashi and Guy grew as well.....
And here is something interesting, didn't obitos right side get crushed??? And isn't Tobis sharingan and eye hole on his mask on the right side?

I can see why ppl would assume after seeing these things and lets just say for "what ifs" that somehow he didn't die under that boulder and that Madara found him and taught him how to use his sharingan properly, what would be his purpose for turning on the Leaf and why would he want to kill ppl regardless of the benefits or outcomes?!
