I liked FMA since the goal of the Main characters wasnt to be the strongest or the best. Seems like too many anime have that goal, but FMA changed it up

Father is by far the strongest character. The only reason the good guys even had a chance to beat him was because Hohenheim had the prep time to remove the souls he took from Amestris, thus keeping him from properly retaining God and giving them the chance to knock his teeth in. The guy could pretty much create nukes in his hands, if he actually landed them nobody in FMA would be doing well. Below him would probably be the other overpowered villains like Pride (hax shadows and stealing your powers when eating you) and Bradley (not much in terms of supernatural power but excellent speed and combat instinct).
