Here are MY reasons that Sasuke is not a bad a$$

First i don't believe Sasuke is a Protagonist nor a antagonist. He is more like a foil. Which is a character who contrasts with another character which is usually the Protagonist in order to highlight particular qualities of the other character. That is a foil character. Sasuke also seems to see to have bad characterization. Sasuke is a typical Avenger and that's just a one dimension avenger. That is nothing special. A badass is just a character type. We tend to say a badass is what a character has done in crucial moments. A badass is not how strong a character or that just destroys every opponent. That's not it. If that's the case every protagonist and antagonist would be a badass.
A badass is a character that goes against laws and accustoms and is brutal.
Another trait of a bad ass is that they hardly show a emotions to any situation they are in and has a blank expression most of the time on their face and a loner and sasuke is somewhat a loner but he's not. A badass relies on there self Sasuke does not. He relies on Oro power. Sasuke maybe a rouge ninja however he is not a outlaw. A outlaw is somebody that actively goes against the law. A outlaw is somebody that wants to live life their own way. Sasuke does not meet these characteristic traits. he allies with Oro, he becomes a rouge ninja and he does not go against the hidden leaf. Or the laws that governs shinobi. He does the opposite. He's loyal is great enough to the Uchiha clan that he wants revenge on the hidden leaf. In a lots of ways Sasuke is not a outlaw at all And forms a group called Taka. Again he is not a loner. Sasuke is not a out law he does not live by his own code. He is a one dimensional avenger. That's all he is, he just wants to take revenge on the hidden leaf for what they did to his clan. Sasuke does not demonstrates any character complexity nothing of that manner. Sasuke has not did anything morally questionable he did not kill anyone! Well he did kill those samurais at the kage summit but they are irrelevant characters. Every time he try's to kill somebody he gets stop. No he's not a bad ass. A real badass is this man

I think there is more to sasuke.. before he killed itachi he was on path to be hero killing rochi and hunting down itachi and id bet he woulda went back to konoha after killing itachi but madara turned him into avenger and he attacked kages and killed danzo and woulda got sakura and kakashi but was stopped and at this point he is a bad ass has no regard for laws and wants revenge then he runs into itachi the second time and at this point im not sure if he is an avenger or hero but hes definatly living his way now.. not my fav char but i think he compliments narutos charactor nicely... and hes pretty bad ass stiiiiiillllll

sasuke little too overrated. I wonder how itachi believes in him. Like was he worth saving instead of his clan. Sasuke turned out to be criminal anyway. It wasnt worth it, in my opinon.
