dude it was minato, kabuto said so, whilst explaining the limits of the edo tensei. read da manga. orochimaru was going fer a kage deathmatch. but he didn't know about the death seal. it was kishi's way of foreshadowing how hiruzen wud defeat oro.
hiruzen was there just outside the barrier wen minato used the death seal, he learned it from minato.
