Could shikamaru pull off tobi's mask with his shadow jutsu

The reason i ask this is because if he can use shadows to pick up and throw weapons why wouldn't he somehow possibly with help pull off tobi's mask using his shadow jutsu i mean if he could wouldn't that be cool.

You say that but shikamaru not so long ago took tobi by suprise with his shadow possession jutsu when tobi turned up on darui's battlefield to collect kinkaku and ginkaku and tobi wasn't expecting it he couldn't even move so the only way he could escape was by teleporting away.

Shikamaru is smarter than tobi and tobi is wary of this so when the alliance turns up tobi would have to take precaution not that shikamaru's physically dangerous but his intelligence is and i reckon that shikamaru's intelligence could help the alliance beat tobi and win the war leaving tobi speechless i mean tobi the man who has planned everything for years admitted in his own words that he regrets having shikamaru as an opponent also not only that but shikamaru's intelligence allowed him to destroy one of kakuzus hearts by using a sample of kakuzus blood which kakashi took when he used rakiri on him and shikamaru wasn't anywhere near him all he did was when hidan went to slice shikamaru he dodged it and squirted kakauzu's blood on hidan's knife and made out that hidan scratched him until when hidan entered curse mode to finish shikamaru, shikamaru was still alive and kakuzu who was dancing with kakashi etc felt hidans attack which cost him one of his hearts.

If Tobi was caught in shadow possession, definitely, he hasn't got the physical strength to break out but catching him in it would be far too hard, although he actually has a better chance than some of the people currently fighting Tobi as long as he has a distraction as (correct me if I'm wrong) but Tobi still casts a shadow even when he is intangible, it's just Shikamaru isn't important enough in the story for that to happen.

I remeber when Tobi sayd that Shikamaru is a nuisance to have him on the opposite side.

Are we forgetting his Kamui ability guys? He can just become intangible if Shikamaru binds him.
