Nexus I have a quick question; it's something I've been thinking about. When you start the first e-magazine will you be setting up some regulations/guidelines for the piece's you want (or be giving us an idea of what you want)? I don't mean assigned per-say just a small limitation to the write what you want scenario. I wasn't sure if you were going to go by a theme or something like that.

For example for those that would be submitting a story:
-Original work based on your own capabilities or anime based
-Must be this many words... (to avoid bibles) :lmao:

Well yea, that's the point of reference, I need to see how and how well you can work.

In other words since this will be like a magazine, something like Adobe indesign will be very helpful right? Also PS etc..
I've worked with it in the past for school projects and such.
I would love to apply but, I'm still polishing my GFX stills and only use gimps. Sounds like an awesome project though. I do have a friend in mind for the 'witter' position since she loves to write, I will ask her to take a look at this.

Yes, those would be helpful. Great, it wouldn't hurt to have more writers, and they don't necessarily need to be members of NB.

I would like to apply for the writer position and will apply via email asap,
I am a young Australian and english is my first language...i am also currently going through my final year of school.

thus it is important for me to know...although you have specified that your planning on this being bimonthly at the moment, i am hoping that the response hours are quite flexible...

I have my final trial examination tomorrow and i have my final exams in about 2 months and will be studying in the build up...therefore it is important for me to know that if i cannot put effort into the writers column for a short period of time - that i will be covered (which sounds like will be the case as your collecting a group of people).
Basically to know that if i need to prioritise my school work above this project that it will be ok and flexible enough for me to do so.

I can send you various school assignments and essays that i have worked on in my final year (none of which will apply to NB most likely, but will demonstrate a sound use of the English language and linguistic skills) and i have a single fan-fiction chapter here on the base which i can link you to in the email.

Further, i also extremely interested in Japanese culture having visited thrice in the past two years...i am also a video game and manga enthusiast and can hopefully bring something useful to the table

Also i have recently been involved with some graphic work here on the base in the design hall (some examples in my sig ) and can possibly help with that to an extent (although im sure there will be far better qualified people than i)

I will put all of this information into the application in case you don't see them on this thread along with some examples of my writing. Again my main fear with this is flexibility between this and my school work which i will need to prioritise for.
