I will probably get flamed for this and I mean it in the nicest way possible but I have to ask. I don't know if its an American thing or not but what is the attraction to wrestling? I seriously can not ever stand the sight of it, since all I see is beef cakes in tight pants undertaking what is possibly the worst acting/ fake fighting I have ever seen in my life. Not trying to be rude I just don't get the attraction of the (I want to put sport here but I don't think it is even that).

its good entertaining for myself to watch it since im 7 years old i saw it for the very first time and its still nice to watch,but the best times was the wwf times nowdays the new wrestler are damn crap,the attitude area was so damn epic :D

Some children don't know its real . That's the misconception . Those who know its fake , watch it for entertainment. Usually the beefed up guys we don't like. Simply because they cant wrestle.

It's not a sport; but a TV Show. Thus, it's staged and fictitious; just Movies, other TV Shows, Books and Animes ect...

Everybody have their own choices of what kind of animes, movies, shows ect... that appeal to them. I'm sure, you have your own choices too. WWE shows are simply one kind of a show that appeals to me. I'd personally rather watch WWE than certain movies/shows of nowadays, for example.

I think, this thread is derailing cause we haven't decided on what basis to choose the best wrestler of all times in WWE.

If we talk on the basis of impact in WWE, then that list will compose of greats like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Undertaker, Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H & John Cena.

If we talk on the basis of wrestling skills in WWE, then the list shall compose of greats like Randy Savage, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, Christian, CM Punk & Daniel Bryan.

Personally, HBK is the greatest to me; wrestling-wise and Stone Cold is the most defining wrestler WWE had.

To the one saying, Kurt Angle, well, it's true that Kurt Angle had enormous talents in Pro Wrestling but his accomplishment and stint in WWE are too few compared to what he had in other Pro Wrestling Shows and in Olympics. In that way, HBK or Jericho or Hart surpasses him when it comes in WWE.

Yeah, perhaps in whole global pro-wrestling, Kurt Angle is the greatest ever. But he didn't each such magnanimous heights in WWE.

It isn't a sport as wrestling isn't acknowledged to be a sport by Olympics. Boxing is a sport. Judo is a sport. Martial Arts is a sport. Wrestling is not.

It's categorized as a TV Show. In fact, Monday Night RAW just crossed the 1000th Episode and is the longest weekly running show ever. Even longer than landmarks like Friends, Dallas, Simpsons ect... The transition of WWF to WWE (E for Entertainment) also completes the point that Pro Wrestling is definitely not a sport and is not even claiming to be one.

It just needs to be enjoy for what it is. And it's a live show with staged fights, penned storylines, live-promos and the demonstration of the art that is 'wrestling'. But I'd rather watch WWE than a soap opera with mindless comedies or overstuffed melodrama.

It's a 'Like' it for what is or 'Dislike' it what it is. Still, it's stupid to dislike it because it's not real or not a sport. It's like saying, I hate all movies, animes, shows ect... because they are fictitious.
