Garp is a tall, broad-chested, muscular old man who is bearded and has a scar on his left eye. In the anime, his eye colors were revealed to be blue. Garp is always seen with a cigar. When he was younger, 24 years ago, Garp's hair and beard were still black, with the sideburns beginning to whiten. He also wore a much darker double breasted suit with a white shirt and a red tie, but he already had the scar above his left eye.

Personality:
Garp is a very intelligent old man. He knows what is going to happen in a battle, just by looking at body language. He also is somewhat of an eccentric person with a rather strange approach to things: rather than entering through doors, he finds that bursting through walls is the cooler thing to do. But then in the end, he will only end up ordering his subordinates to repair the damage he caused.

Background Info.
History:
Garp hails from the mighty clan of kaguya. As a child Garp was a nice kid he always had the obcession with getting stronger. So he began training every day until he believed he could beat anyone. So he challenged his father to spar. His father not knowing about the formerly dormant powers his son possesed, he fought him half a**ed. Garp showed no mercy towards his father. And went all out. It started out calm and ended badly Garp killed his father using his Kaguya powers. Astonished by this his mother committed suicide. So Garp was left the village with no family just himself. He then lived on the road as an orphan. In Garp's adult life he trained to be a strong shinobi. Over a long period (30 years)of time Garp arrived in Kumogakure. Garp was welcomed in by the villagers. Garp's confidence was shown as a cocky sorta of way, so the villagers deemed him as the arrogant one. Over time Garp developed bonds and friendshsips with most of the villagers. Garp now lives and breathes kumogakure and would sacrifice his life for the village.
