Something wrong with my PS?

Something's wrong with it? I just click something accidentally and then it contract or I get a feeling like this I mean the layer windows should not be like that, how do I get back to default?

Drag it back to the default area.
It should highlight the area you hover over.

Hmm try right clicking on the layers tab and see what that does.
I don't have the version of Ps, sorry x.x
Edit: Try this window>workspace

It works but I think there should be no gray space between them?

?? I mean between the pic border and layer tab border. There shouldn't be no space?

CS4 right?Click that drop down spuare shaped button above, I think the one close to the "100%" then select float in windows I think, I only used CS4 for two weeks is that what you want?

I have used all CS and they seem all normal to me...Just that the tabs on the left are minimised, that's all.
