of course the both got shocked it wasnt killerbee's attack, it was sasuke's lol. suigetsu said it himself, im weak to his lightning attacks. suigetsu is solely a water user from wat we have seen so far. his body is practically all water. and he said he's weak to lightning based attacks. i think that says it all right there in regards to the whole lightning vs water debate

Why not. He beat a tailed beast who had use of multiple elements including lava and other elemental mixes. And he beat him without sustaining any injuries.

he beat the 4-tails. and we dont know the specifics of that fight, like whether or not that jinchuuriki had tamed his beast. so far killerbee is the only jinchuuriki who has been able to fully transform and maintain control. and dont say the 2-tails did because hers was a small version of the real thing.

I personally think they will show the fight. Mainly because Kirabi is now a character that has a spotlight. Yugito did not have enough written about her to make her battle drawn out. But Kirabi, we know his moves, we know a bit about him, we know some background on him, he'll become a character in Naruto that we will learn about. Kisame is Akatsuki. But personally, I think Kirabi will win. I think the reason is if he was going to be captured, then Kishi would have made Taka who did it. He wouldnt have him escape just to be captured by Kisame. Kisame may have a lot of chakra, but I think the 8-tails has even more. Though not as much as the 9-tails. The more tails a tailed beast has, I think the more chakra it also has. It was said somewhere that Shukaku had the chakra of a few exceptional shinobi, while the 9-tails has an almost limitless amount of chakra. So the 8-tails would be probably far beyond Kisame's amount of chakra.

Hey guys please do not refer to japanese myth as to an absolute proof of your points. Masashi Kishimoto uses it to create his ideas but many things he stated it the manga are actually contradictive to japanese mythology.

Like Yamata no Orochi is supposed to be the eight tailed beast, and it should be sealed by Susano'o and you already know that only 50% of it is actually the truth.
