Clarification on strategy used by Naruto & crew vs. Tobi

At first when Naruto was fighting Tobi in bijuu mode (Chapter 598 'Into Pieces') I was wondering why he bothered to use a bijuu dama (tailed beast bomb) against a guy who can phase his body to another dimension. Then I was like OMG he's trying to keep Tobi's whole body in that other dimension so that the clone can attack outright. What do you guys think? Do I get an :ice:

Also, still trying to figure out how Naruto was able to headbutt Tobi earlier in Kyuubi chakra mode but unable to him in the later fights, probably some weird anomaly.

I wouldn't let some of the comments get to you, some people could be a little nicer at times.

But yeah there certainly was a strategy, in fact one thing I liked about 598 was Kakashi's and Naruto's team work and how it has progressed over the series. Kakashi knew Naruto wanted his clone (When he glanced at Kakashi) to be sent to the other dimension. He then created a Bijuu dama to cover quite a large area to force Tobi into using his jutsu and going into the dimension.

Maybe it just shows off that Naruto is so fast in KM that Tobi can't react to it. :shrug:
