I liked this chapter. Seeing Obito's life then finding out that tobi's Obit was pretty cool. And although Kishi pretty much revealed to us that Obito is Tobi, we shouldn't jump to conclusions, and just wait for the next few chapters. Kishi has made many twists in the manga.

holy shit, i for one was totally shocked.
i never thought that it would actually be obito.
i thought it was a really good twist though. just glad he was finally revealed so everyone can stop with the debates on who he is. my guess is the next chapter is gonna be obito explaining pretty much everything and why he did it all.

I suppose I have an answer proposal.

Maybe not long after Kakashi and Rin left Obito in the battlefield, Madara passed by and saw him. Maybe he was an Uchiha. Maybe he took care of him, together with Zetsu, who was created by Madara himself with Hashirama's cells. Maybe they healed them and trained him. Madara passed his will to Obito. It was Madara, now very old who attacked Konoha the day Naruto was born, and died soon after. So Obito inherited his master will, plans and traits with only one person/thing remaining who knew all the truth, all along: Zetsu.

I know there is a lot off holes in this theory, but, for me, is how I responded to my long-ago-made theory that Tobi was, indeed, Uchiha Obito...

can someone please find me where it says how long after the mission at the kanabi bridge the fox attack was? I've been looking for it but can't seem to find it.

seriously people, for all we know kakashi was 18 at the time of the 9 tailed fox attack, so that'd be like...what? 5 years after the whole kannabi bridge incident? even if it wasn't 5 years later the way i see it it had to have been at least 3 (which would make kakashi and obito 16) so i really don't think the whole "obito is too young" argument can apply.

and how could he have gotten so much more powerful in such a short amount of time? well controlling the 9 tails I'm sure is gonna be explained. that definitely has something to do with how obito survived being crushed and how he met madara and all that. the rest, well how do we know he got that powerful? during the fight with minato he was going to try and catch him, the worlds fastest ninja, with a chain...yeah, that'll totally work. in hindsight kinda seems like a noob strategy. plus we know obito was actually kind of naturally skilled at using the sharingan since he was able to read attacks and see chakra flow pretty well after just awakening it. if he can figure out how to use a s/t jutsu like the one he uses fairly well, he can beat a lot of people. so far, from what I've read (and i could be wrong. if thats the case please show me) only 3 people have managed to figure out tobis jutsu. Konan figured it out after spending YEARS with tobi, kakashi figured it out just because he happened to have his other sharingan (if he didn't, they'd probably still be trying to figure out how to hit him) and minato just figured it out (boss).

at that point it really stops being about how powerful he became between the time he "died" and the time he fought minato and more about how clever he can be with phasing his body in and out. if you have such a unique ability and you can keep people guessing, youre gonna win a lot of fights. and he got pwned by minato (boss) in the end.

Its Obito whose mind got corrupted by Madara in order for Madara's stream of Eye of the Moon plan to be completed because Madara was being too old. His left side of face is because of Hashirama's cells developing his crushed body parts.

Although it hasn't been explained yet I believe that Zetsu has something to do with it being how Obito was able to remove his arm against Danzos goons and how it just melted away after he was hit with Minatos rasengan. Maybe Zetsu helped his body heal and grow faster. Tobi said he posessed the cells of the 1st hokage so maybe obito got them from madara and mixed them with zetsus powers.

dude when kakashi was 18 it was hiruzen as hokage or minato which ever madara had long died so was hashirama unless madara also has a space time power in which he can go into a different dimension and live longer thats the only thing i can think about right now which kinda makes sense then after he lived in that dimension ( he wouldn't age so quickly) so i guess he meet up with obito and start training him. you know what fuc this, hashirama defeated him he even mention that to the five kages their is no way obito met up with him obito just dig up the leaf grave yard and find alot of sharigan like what danzo did

1. It appears that Minato became Hokage before the Third Great Ninja war, not after it like we all assumed. Although it is odd that his soldiers didn't address him by his proper title in Kakashi Gaiden

2. As I've said since my first day on Narutobase, Tobi is Izuna using Obito's body. The only thing I didn't expect was that it seems that Izuna is sharing Obito's body with him, who knows why though

well considering we've never actually seem tobi use his ms, he just activated it in the last chapter and still hasn't used it, who's to say that that attack isn't just a property of his sharingan? i mean minato and tobirama used s/t jutsu and they didn't have ANY sharingan so surely its possible that obito had some kind of s/t jutsu that doesn't require a ms.

First off only kakashi could be better than an uchiha. and Obito power boost trumps Sasuke and Naruto's.
Last, the reason for the boost/change in Obito will be the worse patch job so get ready for it. As long as Naruto gains the power of all nine beast and becomes the new sage of the six paths minus the eyes i will be good.

I was almost convinced that Tobi was a clone from Madara, but every since I read the last manga where Tobi tells Kakashi that he isn't afraid of some borrowed power and that he will show Kakashi the power of the REAL kamui I believed it was actually Obito. Kishi is on a roll with the troll.

i was an early believer that obito was tobe but after awhile it got too obvious so now i know there is more to it, the timeline seems to be off on pg #7 ... it shows the fourth hokage face on the mountian and obito as he was before the mission with kakashi, the fourth was called the yellow flash in that mission and no one called him hokage...
before all the clues as to wheather or not tobe was obito, some of us guessed it just by obito's hair, it cant be just coincedense that all the clues that came after that pointed to tobe being obito, i think it has a lot to do with obito but there is a lot more to tell.

This manga was an absolute fail..NOT BECAUSE TOBI = OBITO..i don't care anymore..But the sheer amount of screw ups is mind boggling..Minato's face , kakashi in chuunin exams, the contradictions from databooks..WTF ?! It's clear fellas..The guy was drunk while writing this..
