Gave it a 1. Chapter 600 prediction: Obito will reveal that Kakashi actually kidnapped Rin and made her his sex slave, then finally killed her so he could activate his Mangekyou Sharingan.

Here's my take.

Tobi tells Sasuke the he was not...NOT responsible for the Juubi attack on the leaf 16 yrs before. Either he lied, or he was telling the truth and it wasn't him there. If he's lying, it means many other things he said (ie; giving Nagato the Rinn.) could be lies and could explain why the timelines don't fit. There's a lot of reasons the timeline could still be made to fit by simply adding a Oro like body swapping tech.

It's Obito;s body for sure, but is it his mind? That's the big Q we could debate till the sun comes up Wednesday morning and we all find out for sure.

And on a side note, anyone else find it weird that no one sensed the crow inside of Naruto that Itachi implanted. Not him, not Kurama, not his mom or dad....no one noticed he had a freakin crow living in him lol

Hey also remember that there was a certain snake man who was experimenting with the first ability let us not forget Danzo also had both blood lines, but he could not control it fully. So orbito could of been picked up by ori. and been experimented on. I also wouldn't be hard to fix a near dead ninja since we dont know if he really passed.

Here's what I don't get though. In Kakashi's Gaiden, Obito's right side was crushed by a boulder and he gave his left eye to Kakashi, right? And yet his eye's intact in the reveal. Like WTF. If his body's crushed isn't his eye, too? I know medical jutsu's can do some amazing thing s but to restore a crushed eye? Nah..

Kishi built the plot so much that chronologically & canonically Tobi couldn't be Obito..
Remember he could've done the same with his right eye. Since he had a Sharingan in both eyes, the hairstyle part is irrelevant since his hairstyle changed twice.

Kishi may have seem to build the plot in a way where he truly needs to explain a lot but you still don't get my point. Wouldn't you agree that Kishi PURPOSELY drew similarities between Tobi and Obito from the beginning? Yeah you could say he gained a right eye and his hair style changed but that is quite a bit AFTER his introduction. :shrug:

If you don't agree, then you clearly underestimate Kishimoto's skill as you are basically saying that he draws character designs with not much thought to the significance of each component of that character (e.g. your thinking would be Tobi just had the first left-eye mask, first hair and color for some less significant reason) and it was just a giant coincidence that he drew similarities between Tobi and Obito.

If you do agree, then that means you suspected that Kishi may plan to unmask Tobi as Obito and therefore you SHOULDN'T question why he is Obito but that you SHOULD question why he created such a plot that needs several fixes/explanations.:noc:

Long Story Short:

• Plan of Tobi-Obito = 1st
• Complex/Confusing Plot = 2nd

Therefore question the plot not Tobi being Obito

Now that it was revealed that Tobi is Obito I just hope that it is ACTUALLY Obito. I didn't want it to be Obito, but I would be even more pissed if they just had Obito's body with some sort of epic mind transfer jutsu and somebody is just using his body.

My theory is that Madara was still alive when Obito got caught under those rocks and saved him for some unknown reason. Then he took in Obito, and totally mind ****ed him into becoming a ridiculously angry at the world person who strongly believes in all of the Uchiha / Senju and hating Konoha babble that Tobi explained to Naruto at the Inn after the Kage summit. I think Madara twisted Obito's mind just like what happened with Sasuke, which is how he got to this point motivation wise. Madara probably told him all about the hidden leaf village, the sage of the six paths and Madara's own life, etc. It is already a fact that they know each other and are most likely working together, so I think Madara knew he was going to die, trained Obito, and then told him his really elaborate plan to reincarnate himself using Nagato and become immortal. I also think that Madara told Obito to go around saying that he was Madara in order to help his plans go more smoothly. As for why Madara chose Obito, thats something I hope get's explained in the next chapter. Should be interesting

Here's a thought. We haven't seen the gedo mezo in three issues, there has been no background beyond utter blackness. Did the statue stop it's transformation? Did it suddenly stop screaming and sit down quietly to watch the battle? Doubtful on both accounts. No one stopped the ten tails from being resurrected but it's suddenly absent.

I contend that the infinite tsukuyomi has already begun. They have been trapped in it for at least three issues and Tobi may or may not be Obito. It would explain a lot of what is happening now. Sure with the infinite tsukuyomi there would be peace and control in the world. Doesn't mean the genjutsu itself has to be pleasant for the victim. To that Kakashi can attest. Again just a thought.
