why the difficulty accepting?

I don't understand why so many people are having difficulties accepting tobi is obito. First of all people complain about the plotholes. Well much of obito's history is still unexplained, so of course there will be questions. Secondly how is it so hard for people to understand him being powerful enough to go against minato? Look at what naruto has done in a year. Lastly look at sasuke when it comes to obito going evil, and besides, he's trying to bring peace, albeit in a rather twisted way.

Its basically the plotholes.
You know, controlling Yagura, the mizukage, for years at age 14, fighting Minato at age 14, all the while by having a body like an adult...
And while Yagura was being controlled before Obito even graduated from the ninja acedemy...
The list goes on.

Also, note the many flaws in the manga now, Minato's head on the hokage mountain even while Minato has never been Hokage during Obito's lifetime as a leaf ninja.

I know there are a LOT of holes, but I'm sure a number of them will be explained when it explains how obito has his knowledge of madara and such. On top of that, the whole mess with the hype is mainly the fault of the fans. After all, ever since it was shown tobi wasn't madara, I expected it to be kagami or obito, and that if it was obito, the wrinkles were scars from the crushing.

Actually he was potentially older than 14. Kakashi graduated at five but obito graduated at age nine. They were in the same squad after graduating, so he may have been older than we think.
