Who says Tobi was an adult during his fight with Minato?

Many people keeps saying that Tobi was an adult during his fight against Minato but how can you tell a person's age under a mask and a robe, and also how can people just assume that there was only a one year time difference between the time Obito (died) and the time Konaha was attacked.

There's is time gap between his death in the attack on the leaf village.... Every one is a lot older it has to be like 10 15 years

lol i know man many people just listen to rumours without looking at the facts and i seen every naruto manga and episode and i still dont know the time line diffrence between those events yeah kakshi and obito were way older from when he died cuz kakshi was a jonin already so he was at least 16 or 15 when he died then the time between shit for all i know his voic box got messd up lol

Well Danzo and Tobi were both after Shisuis sharingan because of its powers so whos to say that Obitos sharingan didn't have some op ability like controlling Kurama with a 3 tomoe sharingan?

It is possible Zetsu could have altered his body to appear older to hide his identity further, he could have been taken away and trained by someone so he could control the kyuubi (Madara.. maybe?). But of course this is if it was actually Obito fighting Minato and not .. well 'something else' but that is an entirely other topic.

Obito would be like as old as Kakashi which would make him like 36 or something. Obito would have been 15 or 17 at the time. He wouldn't sound that old or be that tall. How could he get that powerful he freaking controlled Kyuubi with a normal sharingan which even Madara could not do. There is so many plot holes it isn't funny.

um... seeing as half his body was crushed, could be new vocal cords. I mean his left side is mostly zetsu, presumably, so new "deeper" vocal cords is not unimaginable

When you do the math, there's roughly 14 years between Kakashi and Naruto. At the end of Part I Naruto was 13 and Kakashi was 27. Tobi "Obito" showed up and unleashed Kurama the night Naruto was born. 16 years ago. But Obito died when he was 13. Assuming he's the same age as Kakashi, that was 17 years ago. I have no clue what happened to his body after he got crushed by that boulder, or if the person we saw in 599 today was actually Obito mentally, but when he fought Minato, no, he shouldn't have been an adult. He had to have become very enhanced, though, to go toe-to-toe with the Fourth like that, so maybe his body was enhanced then as well. I dunno. Who knows who helped him out with all that.

Since half of his body was crushed I'm guessing he replaced body parts with zetzu parts which made him taller, and Madara taught him everything else he did that night. that's the best I can come up with since they know each other.

I'm also on the boat that it probably has something to do with Zetsu. Maybe Zetsu was created by Madara with the firsts cells/techniques to find someone to finish his goals. I still find it odd that when Madara was revived he thought it was Nagato. How would he even know about Nagato unless he was around at that time or in spirit form per se
