Tobi/ObitoTheories: What, why and how and then some

itachi has no idea what hes talking about. he said that trying to do everything on you own would make naruto like madara who tried doing everything on his own and lost to hashi because of it. in itachis thoughts, he refers to obito as madara. so he didnt know at all. but what does itachi turn around and do? try to end the entire war ON HIS OWN. so itachi = madara accordig to itachi himself.

Well no, not really. Itachi referred to Tobi as Madara because at that point in time the real Madara Uchiha was not revived yet. So to everybody else, he was still 'Madara'. This means that his reference is to Tobi.

I believe that his words meant for Naruto to always have the help of others to solve the problem. Since Tobi is trying to basically 'save' the world on his own through Mugen Tsukuyomi, he is essentially shouldering that burden by himself. Both Obito and Itachi are products of a lone ninja who had no support from other people. So in the end, it is fitting for Itachi to seemingly fit the mold he is telling Naruto NOT to become.

I did not, it's OBVIOUS that he thought everyone (along with Kabuto) thought he died that day. I awakened these eyes shortly before my "death" could EASILY mean either or. It's simple. :shrug:

I honestly don't know why people are freaking out over Obito being Tobi; I can't say I didn't see that one coming - Tobi had to be at least an Uchiha, and seeing that Kakashi seemed most involved while fighting him...well, that's self-explanatory. I woulda preferred to see some Shisui action though...wonder if he'll have his own story? Obito wasn't dead; there's no reason why Shisui can't still be alive.

It's just weird thinking about it like this, since Obito IS Tobi.

1.) He was affiliated with Itachi. Who'd ever thought?? I mean Itachi and Obito...it's kinda weird to wrap my mind about it...

2.) He was Deidara's obnoxious, care-free partner. Deidara hates Uchiha and he's working with one. That aside, Obito, while I can't say it's unnatural, was acting like a knucklehead.

3.) He's a surviving Uchiha? Does that mean Madara's actually dead and what was Obito's purpose for pretending to be Madara?

4.) Obito loved Rin which also means that Tobi loves Rin...(O.o) Tobi has a lover~

5.) He kinda looks like a Uchiha-version of Naruto. They're practically Yin-and-Yang.

Er-herm, Itachi knows EVERYTHING. Look at all the advice he gave Naruto, warning him not to lose his friends or else he'll become like Tobi. He KNNNEEEEWWW Itachi should at least be redeemed. Again.

this is a way to see it, or that madara never gave away his " own " eyes to nagato.

there is still no proof, no real hint, no real picture. Tobi as Madara could meant by giving nagatos this eyes. that madara gave him the ability to activate it himself. The best example here would be to think Madara as Nagatos father~


maybe obito refered to madaras power, because it was madaras plan the whole time and he was part of it. To obtain the power of madara and let the world sleep.
so if Tobi Obito madara lived far longer ~


But there is just no enough evidence to say, that real madara gave away his eyes to nagato and died afterwards. There is no proof, only Tobis words, but tobi is a liar so we can not believe him~ And if Tobi is Obito and knew about that, then Madara must have lived at the Time of Obito~ And this is a fact, anything else would not make sense cuz kishi said himself they know each other.

Yes just No, after this flashback of Obito at 599(title Obito uchiha -.-)...its just No. If people denie this flashback as a proof then, well i won't care anymore about this people...if nobody can refere to this flashback and tell me it was someone else before, then why it was shown this before we saw Obitos face. To fool his audience? NOOO Flashbacks were evertime, evertime, evertime an important hint to got to know about a mystery.

Chapter 600 will be a the start of an Flashback as well as 400 and 500 was.
And this happened evertime before there was something big that happend before.
It is Obito...no one else, if u do not believe the concept that Kishi just did already 200 Chapters of Shipudden before then its just worth nothing to read this manga.
im did not say guys who think obito still could be someone else are fools i just think you do not get Kishis concept and that this is a shounen battle manga and not a mystery novel/manga ~

Yeah I'm still suspicious as to how he actually "gave" him his eyes, I too think there's a deeper connection between Madara and Nagato. I mean why he was actually "chosen".


Yeah with all the flashbacks, it's basically set in stone. Also, Tobi (basically the main villain), ties in with Naruto (The main character of the story) better than Izuna. Madara suits Sasuke more so yeah.

i think that obito took on madara's identity to mainly use the power in madara's name.
but i cant help but think madara had something to do with obito....
edo madara confirmed that he and tobi planned it together with kabuto saying he was unsure if fake madara will act as planned.
it was obvious that tobi was obito all along because kishi used his name in a round about way like someone pointed out (i dont remember who... im sorry) much like tom marvolo riddle = lord voldemort

People keep talking about Madara and Obito. I think some people have forgotten that Orochimaru and Tobito know each other. So, I think it is more acceptable to postulate Oro's involvement than Madara's.

I think there were 2 Tobi's or Masked Men. One was Either Madara or Izuna Uchiha, however if it was Izuna Madara knew about the plan and was in on it. The predecessor Tobi would have attacked Konoha and fought Minato and controlled Yagura Mizukage.

My main supports for it are The Flame Masked Tobi saying "You have no idea how long I've waited for this.", how Kisame believed the man controlling the Mizukage was Madara Uchiha, how Minato thought the Flame Masked Tobi, Who Never Named Himself Madara, was Madara Uchiha, and the Flame Masked Tobi had longer hair than Obito and Obito now a days has kept it short, the hair also resembles Izuna's hair more than Madara's that's why I added Izuna in as a possibility.

I'm honestly trying to stay neutral about all of this, I don't know why I'm having such a problem with Tobi being Obito. I never predicted Tobi was anyone after Madara was revealed. I'm not MAD, I am disappoint...

It makes sense that...Madara got rinnegan...he died with rinnegan...Tobi takes his rinnegan...gives them to nagato to use...(supposedly)...then takes Madaras rinnegan back from Nagato - has actual madara's eye in his left eye (rinnegan) - cant turn it off.

Madara is brought back with Edo and has both his eyes...there is now 4 rinnegan eyes in existance (just as Itachi was brought back with his eyes - they both died with their eyes so they were brought back with them too)...also makes sense as Tobi commonly refered to himself as madara - but also in ways such as 'Nagato was supposed to bring "me" back' - as in madara.

Hmm i still dont that Obito(kakashi's friend) is the same as this Tobi .. we have seen that implanted eyes are always activated .. Kakashi's Sharingan , Nagato's Rinnengan , and even Tobi's Sharingan its always activated .. but if its rly Tobi why doesnt he turn it off even once .. im not 100% sure but i think its not the same Obito mby a look-alike .. or even a Genjutsu of some kind .. but i guess we will see
