Cracking The Code Of Rin
Considering the latest chapter which is most likely about Rin?
-She killed herself
-Died on a mission
-She's alive and well working with Obito
-Obito killed her
-Madara killed her
Let's go over what we know about Rin.
*She was an excellent medical Nija. One who might even rival Tsunade if she was still around
*She loved Kakashi
*Kakashi says it's his fault she's dead and he's to blame
*She survived the Kanabi Bridge Mission
So what's more likely about Rin?

No.
Related to the thread though, Kakashi probably failed to protect her.
This would go along with his plan.

Re: Cracking The Code Of Rin
We know Kakashi had MS after the time skip. Most likely the only person close to him we know of that could have died during the time skip would be Rin. So probably died in time skip making Kakashi awaken sharingan.
Why haven't we seen her till the time skip then? Simple answer, kishi didn't mention kakashis team till the time skip, and probably hadn't thought that far yet.
Also in a scene before the time skip, kakashi is standing in fron of the grave, and another shinobi asks if he visits obitos grave, however, she didn't ask about Rin, so obviously she wasn't dead at the time?

In one of the first chapters Kakashi talks about his dead friends and copies what Obito told him before he tried to rescue Rin by himself. It's difficult to say for-sure but I would say Kishi knew about Obito and Rin (or at least thought about their possibility) then.
Also even though Kakashi had mastered over 1,000 techniques when he fought Zabuza it seemed like he sort of already knew the potential the Sharingan had to evolve by saying "I've no where near mastered this eye yet."

Where did you get the idea that Rin is as good a medical ninja as Tsunade (or had the potential to be)?
1) I don't think she killed herself.
2) She's probably not still alive. Otherwise Kakashi wouldn't be mourning for her all the time, and he probably wouldn't have awakened his MS.
3) I doubt Obito killed her, because Kakashi blames himself for her death (and it happened a while ago).
4) I doubt Madara killed her, he was probably already dead.
I bet she just died on some mission.

She implanted an eye which involves manipulating chakra and nerves at the same time. Not only did she do it, but she did it correctly and quickly. Tsunade said herself that fixing/repairing/manipulating chakra when it comes to nerves in the body is amazingly difficult and Rin was doing it when she was so young. It's an assumption that she could be as good, but not too far-fetched.
Granted a few from the Uchiha clan did it with probably not much medical-jutsu background, so who knows?
