It makes since to put in such a twist. The whole war has played on everyone's emotions so why not make it Obito. Kakashi is strongly tied to him. Who else would know Kakashi and Guy best

Agreed. The chapter didn't even reveal that he's Obito. Only that he has Obito's body. He's probably just using Obito's body. I'll probably be a little pissed if he does actually turn out to be Obito, but Obito is (admittedly) at least better than Kagami or Fugaku.
