So as of now I'm not really sure what people were most sad about, that Obito is Tobi, or that it seemed so simple. I don't think it will bring peace to anyone's mind, but Kishi could have thought this out years ago, like he did with the ending, he said that he figured it out ages ago, and wouldn't change it under any circumstance. Well, he could have thought out Tobi's identity ages before the theories came out about him, I dunno.

Also I don't think people should be all heart broken, for all we know, that might just be Obito's body, it is possible that some, as of yet, unknown person found Obito's body, and because Obito was young he made a good vessel, kinda like what Orochimaru wanted with Sasuke.

It isn't much, but don't lose faith in Kishi guys, he probably wants to mind blow, with some crazy, but cool twist

If he thought of it back then he shouldn't have given so many hints. What's the point of a reveal if 2/3 of the readers thought of the theory years before. At least write in some red herrings to throw people off and make it a good, surprising reveal. That's what i'm mad about.

He actually did, if you think about it. He made us believe that the idea was ridiculous by telling everyone that Tobi was actually Madara, and we all believed it!! He did a pretty good job, I think!
And then we were all like DAFUQ when he released chapter 559 and we found out it wasnt madara after all, and while some ppl returned to the tobito theory, others still didnt cuz they knew it was ridiculous.
I will say however, that it WOULD have been a bit better if he had also kept his hair hidden to begin with.
