      i loved alex rider, but after a while i stopped reading them because i hated how he would. not. die. i mean, it just seemed too unrealistic to me after a while, but i still loved the series. anyway, i practically lived off the animorphs for years Percy jackson series is good...i liked hunger games, but im worried it will turn into Team Peeta vs Team Gale and have a fanbase similar to twilight.       There was this book called Shade's Children I read while I was a teenager. That one was awesome. Then there was a lot of books by Clive Cussler. And Redwall. Ten fafillion books about animals acting like people, eating till they shat themselves and then killing each other. Ahhh, the teenage readings.

      Also, make dang sure they start reading Lord of the Rings at this age. This is the best point to start.
